This business absolutely misrepresented themselves to me The posed as the Geek Squad from B [redacted] Buy I still am not sure of how this happened because B [redacted] B [redacted] verified that I was in fact dealing with their Geek Squad department When I went to B [redacted] B [redacted] they did not seem to know what I was talking about I absolutely was manipulated I asked the agent several times during their service if they were B [redacted] B [redacted] and they affirmed they were They are not B [redacted] B [redacted] Geek Squad

Drive savers has helped me with alot of problems with no complaints

This business absolutely misrepresented themselves to me. The posed as the Geek Squad from B[redacted] Buy. I still am not sure of how this happened because B[redacted] B** verified that I was in fact dealing with their Geek Squad department. When I went to B[redacted] B** they did not seem to know what I was talking about. I absolutely was manipulated. I asked the agent several times during their service if they were B[redacted] B** and they affirmed they were. They are not B[redacted] B** Geek Squad.

My experience was such that every time they worked on my computer, they would promise to be on my computer "for just 20 minutes" then commandeer my computer for hours on end (5-6 hours sometimes more), rendering me computer-less which is unacceptable for my home run business. This was just to update software, so I avoided their repeated calls as to not be held hostage to that behavior and resolved to write off their fee as a "lesson learned"....last week I picked up one of the repeated calls since they were so insistent in hopes to ask them to take me off their call list and the rep insisted that I get a refund as that was their company policy that if your not happy for any reason, they would refund my money. He again promised it would "take 20 minutes"....30 minutes later they could not even hook into my computer to uninstall their software so I told them to just take me off the call list and we can call it good, no refund needed.. Today they repeatedly called again to tell me they wanted to do an update and I was irritated as I had already wasted 30 minutes last week with one rep and this rep seemed to think he could get it done so I allowed him to get on my computer to "uninstall" components to facilitate the refund process which admittedly was less time than the previous attempt. At that point he stated he needed to pass me through to his refund supervisor who would approve and have the refund processed within minutes and asked me to hold. Once his "supervisor" got on the phone, he proceeded to put me through a "feedback" process which he stated was company policy but started to "educate me" that the company was in good standing with the Revdex.com and extremely persistent with questions that had nothing to do with my refund. I admittedly got irritated and firmly pointed out that I was promised that this refund process was going to take no more than 20 minutes and he said that it would take at least 30 minutes so I said sounds like a bait and switch to me and maybe I should report it to the Revdex.com....he stated that he didn't care what I did since they had thousands of satisfied customers, so what was one negative review. He asked me if I was finished with my "unprofessional rant" and I told him that he could keep my money because my time was worth more than the ** he was putting me through and he called me a F$n [redacted]r!....I hung up. I'm writing this review because if it saves one person the hassle of this company then it will be worth the $700 I paid. Coincidence or not, all cell phone numbers registered with this company have now been called with "IRS Final Notice" scam calls within a couple of hours that this happened.
