read the terms and conditions of the contract. Our terms state the following:
9. Term and Termination.
Term. This Agreement will commence on the Effective Date and remain in effect for one (1) year, unless terminated sooner as provided herein ("Initial Term"). Upon the expiration of the Initial Term, this Agreement will automatically renew for successive one (1) year periods (each, a "Renewal Term"), unless either party has given written notice of its intent not to renew this Agreement at least thirty (30) days prior to the end of the then-current term. The Initial Term and all Renewal Terms, if any, are collectively referred to as the "Term."
Termination for Cause. Jobvite may terminate this Agreement without notice if Customer fails to comply with any term of this Agreement, including any breach of Customer's payment obligations or unauthorized use of the Software. Jobvite has no obligation to retain the Customer Data, and may delete the Customer Data, if you fail to comply with any term of this Agreement, including, but not limited to, failure to pay outstanding fees.
Events on Termination. Upon termination of this Agreement: (a) each party will promptly return all Confidential Information of the other party in its possession, custody or control to the other party, (b) Customer will pay in full all Fees then due, and (c) Jobvite will make available a copy of the Customer Data available to Customer in a manner and form determined by Jobvite for a period of up to thirty (30) days after the effective date of termination of this Agreement. After that time, Jobvite may destroy the Customer Data.
Survival. The definitions and the rights, duties and obligations of the parties that by their nature continue and survive will survive any termination of this Agreement.
[redacted] states that she called in June to cancel services with Jobvite, but per the Terms for Termination, we require this notification in writing 30 days prior to renewal If there is a change in the contract period, then approval must be granted and documented with an executed addendum. There was no agreement to change the contract period and therefore IFOS Corp is liable for the renewal contract.

Jobvite response contain incorrect statements regarding the notification to Jobvite. My staff not I contacted the business on June 22, 2015 and follow-up with an email inquiry regarding our firm's contract prior to the June 30th deadline to cancel. There are numerous complaints from other businesses on the web regarding Jobvite's deceptive selling practices and the company has been reported to the FTC.
In reference to the removal of a product from the contract, the company has a copy of the email regarding the original contract needed to be revised because of additional fees and services were included to contract that was not agreed upon by the firm at the sale. The Jobvite Representative agreed the contract would be reissued. In addition, services did not start on July 30, 2014 but rather August 30, 2014 after the agreed upon contract revision emailed to our firm on 8/18/14. This is the second time the aggressive Account Supervisor tried to make our firm to pay for services we were not rendered from Jobvite. Therefore, notification was served timely to Jobvite to cancel services prior to the actual start date of the modified contract date. Our firm has written emails from Jobvite acknowledging our services were not implemented on the date of the contract due to the mistakes made by their firm. Therefore, the backdating of the contract by a month is illegal since services were not rendered according to the agreement acknowledged by the Jobvite representative. This business should be investigated for similar complaints. We did not use any of Jobvite data during our transfer to our new Jobsearch service provider.

Jobvite agreed proper notification was provided by our firm to terminate the agreement per legal counsel letter and to stop collection effort. The matter is now closed.
