Mrs. [redacted] for 5 months.  I guess Mrs. [redacted] changed her mind and did not notify GCR.  If Mrs. [redacted] would like to discuss her roof she may contact us at any time.

I accept the invitation to call Mrs. [redacted] next week.  I don't appreciate all the accusations by the consumer.  Some things are not as they seem.  GCR will provide a new pipe flashing since this is the only possible explanation for an out of plum pipe on the part of GCR.  It is possible after the 3 layer shingle tear off that the flashing was not installed plum.  After we open up the roof, if the pipe will still not move GCR will provide a home inspector to report on the findings which would most likely be an elbow flange that was never properly installed to a 90 degree angle and is currently visible, (keep in mind this pipe is fastened to the wall and runs through a tight soffit).  The flanges on the elbow that give angle direction do not spin out of plum by knocking a pipe one way or the other.  I do agree the customer has an older picture of a straight stove pipe.  Unfortunately, this evidence does not help GCR with proof that others were not involved with maintenance or poor installation prior to our project or after the project since Mrs. [redacted] did not even mention the pipe for 3 months after the roof was completed and we were waiting for better weather to return and install adhered snow guards. 
As far as the snow pipe diverter, GCR did install this correctly.  The wing kit provided does not fit all metal roof profiles and is not required as stated by the manufacturer.

I have reviewed the response made by the business. The photographs I have clearly demonstrate that in the process of adding decking/roofing etc. the pipe angle has changed. Working with the contractor to fix the decking next week is satisfactory as long as that resolves the angle issue.  When contacted, I will request documentation on the snow guard to show that it is installed up to manufacturers specs. With these criteria in mind, I find this first step in resolving the issue satisfactory. I appreciate your facilitation, given the poor communication experienced prior to my contacting the Revdex.com.

I am rejecting this response because:the agreement was that either they would complete the job and do it as it was bid with correct stove protection, with material around base of stove pipe, and to adjust the roofing so stove pipe could be straight again, or I would have to hire [redacted] to step in and complete the job and fix the stove pipe so it is straight again.The owner suggested I come down to his shop and sign off that if he damaged the stove pipe while finishing the job that he would not be held responsible. I told him that was unsuitable. I called his shop within the past two weeks and left a message and he did not return the call. I would appreciate the owner contacting me, arranging a time to complete the job and when it is completed and the pipe is no longer out of line,I will, of course, pay the full amount.
