[redacted] Hard Copy Attached [redacted] Dear Mr***,As Mr [redacted] stated he rented a vehicle from us and returned it with damageHe filled out the appropriate paperwork, which we submitted to Alternative Claims Management (ACM)ACM handles our claims on our behalfThe car was repaired, all documentation was sent to ACM and they worked with Mr [redacted] and his insurance company to settle the claimHis insurance company paid for the repair and loss of use, but did not cover the Administrative Fee or Dimunition of ValueWhen I received this notice I looked into the claim and ACM had already closed the file and waived the fees that were not paidThe Dimunition of Value covers the loss in value when we go to sell the vehicleWhen there is a Carfax on a vehicle many customers will not buy it and we will have to sell it at a lessor value than a vehicle that had not been damagedACM is allowed to collect a reasonable AdministrativeFee for the handling of a claimAgain ACM waived these fees and the file is closedTo summarize, the disputed amount of $has not been collected and Mr [redacted] will not be pursued as ACM has closed the filePlease let me know if you have any questionsThank You, Roger [redacted] General Manager Cc: Alternative Claims Management RL/mbh

I am rejecting this response because:
All this response does is further insult me and does nothing to try to rectify what happenedNor do they address the fact that I have still not been refundedWhy are they holding my money? im extremely offended that the person responding states "because she did not have enough money available on her credit card she was unable to rent a car." That statement is untrue and offensive and that's not what happened! I even agreed to the charge for the rental plus the deposit to be put on another cardThat's when Kelly the "manager" said "nope were done here bye." The person who answered this only cares about defending their employeeThey may have viewed the tape that Kelly asked his coworker to start filming after I had started filming Kelly's explosive behaviorI wish the person who answered this complaint would care more about how their customers feel rather then just jumping to the defensive of their employeeI guarantee this persons opinion of their "manager" would change if I had a way for them to view the tapeKelly only asked his coworker to start taping once he realized I was taping him and once he was able to control himself to be taped by his coworker. I went online and read reviews on this company and the only complaints on Sixts actual employees were on this same exact employee, KellyThis is obviously an ongoing issue that is condoned by MSP Sixt locationI can't believe the response to the Revdex.com and furthermore I cannot believe this is acceptableNot only did they put me and my two minor children through a completely unnecessary and uncalled for event, but then I make a complaint and I'm further insulted by being told the issue was I didn't have enough money to rent the vehicle and that's why there was an issueAgain, that wasn't the issue and even offerend to temporarily double pay just to get a vehicle and get out of there

I am rejecting this response because:
I supplied the receipt I had from the transaction on the internet and forwarded it to Tamara at Sixt. I was forced to pre pay on the internet because when I called to pre-pay, I wasn't allowed because although I was calling prior to the day of rental, the agent said there were not enough cars left to honor pre-paid prices. When I initially talked to the rep that held my reservation, he said I could shop around and call back and still pre-pay. He did not say anything about you can pre-pay but only if there are a lot of cars. I'm sure they have a record of me calling back prior to the rental day. Its unfortunate the rep did not allowing me to pre-pay due to the policy of only allowing folks to pre-pay until a certain number of vehicles are left to rent and the inability to of the company to correct this issue. If you tell the customer you are allowed to call back and pre-pay, then that should be honored. If not then you should state you can call back and maybe you will be lucky and still get in on the pre-paid price but not if there are isn't enough cars left. I didn't think there would be any difficulty in getting this resolved especially since I had that receipt I printed.

His insurance company paid for the repair and loss of use, but did not cover the Administrative Fee or Dimunition of Value. When I received this notice I looked into the claim and ACM had already closed the file and waived the fees that were not paid. The Dimunition of Value covers the loss in value when we go to sell the vehicle. When there is a Carfax on a vehicle many customers will not buy it and we will have to sell it at a lessor value than a vehicle that had not been damaged. ACM is allowed to collect a reasonable Administrative. Fee for the handling of a claim. Again ACM waived these fees and the file is closed. To summarize, the disputed amount of $657.96 has not been collected and Mr. [redacted] will not be pursued as ACM has closed the file. Please let me know if you have any questions. As Ms. [redacted] stated, she had a reservation with us and Prepaid for the reservation online. When prepaying for a rental there are certain Terms and Conditions that need to be followed.The credit card that was used to prepay the rental charges needs to be presented at the time of rental for...

verification and a $200 deposit is applied to the credit card. Ms. [redacted] did not have the necessary funds available to secure the deposit and therefore did not qualify to rent the vehicle. My manager on duty tried to assist her the best he could keeping in mind that there are certain rules and procedures that need to be followed. Ms. [redacted] wanted to put the deposit on a different credit card which sounds like a simple thing to do, however as was explained to her by doing this it would issue a credit to the original card she used and would then charge the new card for the rental charges plus the $200 deposit. Again the funds were not available on this card either. At this point there was nothing my manager could do but decline the rental. Per Ms. [redacted]'s request, he cancelled the reservation and issued a credit to her card for the amount she prepaid.I did watch the tape of this incident. I talked with my employee that assisted Ms. [redacted]. He followed all of our company procedure and tried to assist her with staying within the company guidelines. Because Ms. [redacted] did not have the funds available on her credit card, she did not qualify to rent the vehicle.
