I recently had the opportunity to call GEMBECKI MECHANICAL in Casselberry on a home plumbing backup issue. Timmy was your technician who called prior to arrival to trouble-shoot and attempt repair. He was very knowledgeable, professional, experienced and talented. I appreciated his attention to detail and explanation of the problem and possible solution offered. The problem was communicated by Timmy to the Public Works Director with the City before he left and I was fine for the night. City trucks were dispatched the next morning, their crew got right to work based on Timmy's advice, they found the blockage at the city tie-in and fixed the problem.
Great customer service is hard to find and I'm sure most don't take the time to recommend but as one who appreciates great customer service, this technician was a great Gembecki representative.
This company is what I would call a buyer beware company. I have a home warranty on our home. Last February 2014 our AC compressor of 13 years burned out. Through the home warranty company we contacted Gembecki. They came out and replaced the Trane compressor. It took 10 days. Now, it is December of 2014 and the compressor burned out again. We contacted Gembecki and they stated that because we used a home warranty company the warranty for the part and labor was only good for 180 days. They would not replace the compressor. And on top of that because our irrigation system is on the same breaker that makes it even more of a reason not to replace the compressor. I know what your thinking. WHY THEN DISNTHEY REPLACE THE THING THE FIRST TIME IF THAT WAS AM ISSUE AND WHAT ABOUT THE 13 years prior to that with no problems at all. They don't want to do the warranty work. So that leaves me with a home warranty and GEMBECKI and a 2000.00 compressor to deal wth. DON'T TRUST GEMBECKI. THEY ARE DISHONEST.
