Gendarme Institute LLC

Gendarme Institute is an institution that uses false advertisement to take advantage of those seeking employment in order to recruit people into their program. When I first went to Gendarme Institute they called my cell phone number (that they got off job sites, where I was applying for jobs) under the understanding that it was just an interview for employment. When I arrived for my interview the lady in charge started describing the job position at a very reputable hospital which was the Kaiser Permanente. She went ahead and told me that I just needed to enroll in a few of their courses and that their fee would be paid through my salary since she confirmed several times that I would have that job without a problem. Then they called a number and started asking me if I agreed to what was said (Me getting hired through Kaiser Permanente and taking a few of their courses which would be paid with my salary). I agreed, but they NEVER stated what were the liabilities under the contract that they had me agree over the phone. A month later I had a major emergency that had me leave the country for a couple of months to complete personal therapy and address family health issues. When I came back to the states I had a lady named Dorothy L[redacted] from RAC Financial Services call me aggressively trying to collect money for this contract and for the courses I NEVER TOOK. I did not take a single course with them and I had never talked to or heard of this lady or RAC Financial Services AT ALL. I was completely unaware that the contract was made through them and that they were the financial company in charge of lending the money. When I tried to talk to Gendarme Institute they simply did not care and simply had lost all interest in trying to work something out with me since I am assuming they had already collected the money from RAC. At this point I am being threatened by Dorothy L[redacted] of a lawsuit. She was very demeaning and threatening with me in the way she has handled this situation. I was in contact with this lady throughout the whole time, letting her know of Gendarme's false advertisement and promises when getting me into this contract, of the problems that I was facing and why I was out of the country, of my unemployment and how I was desperately trying to find a job, and when I found a job all she did she would do is call/text to collect or threaten me with a lawsuit. At this point I am trying to resolve this situation the best that I can because I certainly do not have $3500 dollars to pay for a service I NEVER RECEIVED or USED. Please be aware of Gendarme Institute and their dishonest practices if you are currently searching for a job because they target people in need.
