I had a great experience with Gene Wagner Plumbing. The carpenter, plumber, and electrician were very professional, on time, and very nice. They completed the job much quicker than estimated. Plumber even went out of his way to correct a problem that was not theirs. Kudos to them. [redacted]

Review: I called to have someone come out to look at my water heater it had a leak. I talked to a secretary The add said free estimate, and I told her I need a estimate on a water Heater for a Mobile Home. zThe man came and lelf ane told me that he had to go back to he office to right up a estimate, He called the next day and told me they had to order one that a water heater for a mobile home is not kept on hand because they don't have a lot of calls for those. Then told me that it would run about 900.00 dollars. I had to fined someone else . So Know they said I owe them $100.58 so called [redacted] and I said that I should not have to pay anything. so then she said I will take half off , I told her no that I was not going to pay. How they sent me anouther bill saying if I don't pay they will sent it in to a collection service. I have very very good credit and I don't want to jeopardize that waht can I do I know I'm right and there secretary made a mistake.

The original request made by this customer was that she had a 30 gal. gas water heater that was leaking. That day we sent out a plumber to take care of the problem. It was at that time we realized this was for a mobile home and the heater needed to be replaced.

The customer did not say that an estimate was needed. If that were the case, the person in the office could have given an approx. price and more than likely found out this was for a mobile home.

After a telephone conversation with said customer I reduced the bill to half. This was done as a courtesy. The customer did not give all the information needed to perform the work.

If we knew that this was for the mobile home and knew she wanted an estimate, she would have gotten that information when she called. There would be no reason for us to even send a plumber there. Very often we are able to give an approx. price over the phone for work. This type of work would have been a phone estimate. If we cannot give an estimate on the phone then we have a person that does the estimating. This bill has been already adjusted and no other adjustments will be given.

It is Christmas Eve around 1pm and my kitchen sink backs up. So I call my regular. Plumber who doe not answer and after calling 3 other places. Gene Wagner plumbing answering service responded. Within 45 min someone was at my house. Fortunately he was at a store near me. By 3 pm he was done and on his way. Thanks.

Personable, punctual and competent was this plumber, [redacted]. He clearly explained my options for a leaky cast-iron drain. He quoted a reasonable price. The repair was completed quickly and professionally.

Review: The water heater venting was not installed as initially requested/agreed upon during the estimate visit. I had requested that the water heater vent be installed on the south side of the house where there is an additional 30 inches from a bedroom window. The vent was installed on the east side of the house resulting in gas and noise entering the house through the bedroom window. Therefore I have requested that the vent be installed on the south side of the house as initially requested and have the east side hole insulated and patched.Desired Settlement: Install the water heater vent on the south side of the house and insulate and patch the east side hole.

Customer had a power vent water heater and repairs to drain piping as per contract. Prior to contract being signed customer received $150.00 credit. A detailed contract was signed by customer. Plumber did work as per contract. An inspection was completed and approved. After the fact was customer not happy with the location of the vent. The location of the vent was done according to code.
