Review: I terminated my contract with Gene Smiths to collect my garbage and they have refused to refund my money for the time services was not provided. I paid for services from October 1 thru December 31. I terminated their services in writing to be effective 11/1. They should have refund me for the month of November and December.

I spoke with one of the owners and customer service rep that informed me they are losing business to competitors and will not refund my money. I told them they had not informed consumers they would not refund for services not provided and they said they will not refund money and that Revdex.com can't do anything about. Had I known this was the type of company doing business in NJ, I would never have done business with them. They were provided written and timely notification and should return the portion of my money for November and December.

Based on my conversation with the owner that they are losing a lot of business to consumers, appears they are taking advantage of Consumers by keeping our money. Revdex.com really needs to take action to ensure they do not continue to do business like this in New Jersey...If I did not pay them, they would want to report this and harm my credit rating. How does a company get away with this and harm Consumers!!,Desired Settlement: I would like to have a refund but, more importantly I would like to see Revdex.com take action to prevent others from being harmed.

Review: In 2010 I contracted with Smith Sanitation for weekly garbage collection which included weekly pickup of recycling (which was the main reason that I contracted with them). I received a letter on December 1, 2014 informing me that they were no longer going to pick up recycling weekly, it was now going to be done by-weekly. This was unacceptable as my contract with them included weekly recycling pickup. I was paid in full for their services ( $90.60) from November 1, 2014 to January 31, 2015. On December 1, 2014 I cancelled the service and was told I would receive a refund for the unused two months of service that was paid for. The last date that my garbage was picked up was on November 28, 2014 The check was to be mailed within a week, it has been over 2 months and 10 phone calls later and I have yet to receive my refund of $60.40.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund for the 2 months ($60.40) of service that has been paid for and not used.

Review: I terminated my contract with Gene & George Smith Sanitation, Inc. and they have been ignoring my requests to refund my money for the 1 ½ months of garbage collection services that were not provided. I paid for services from January 1, 2014 thru March 31, 2014. I had given them two weeks notice to terminate their services as of February 14, 2014. I spoke with one of the owners on four separate occasions and he informed me each time that my refund check would be in the mail the next day. It has been almost two months now and I have not received a refund yet.

If I had known that this was not a reputable business and that they take advantage of their customers in this way I never would have done business with them from the start. At the very least I would never have paid them in full if I knew I would get such a run around trying to get a refund for unused servicesDesired Settlement: They owe me a refund for 1 1/2 months of garbage service which I did not use.
