Gene Willmans Auto Repair

Review: I took my car to Gene Willmans's Auto Repair to get a new clutch, flywheel, and throwout bearing installed because the old one was slipping under acceleration. There were no other issues before then. The work was quoted at 800 dollars, but ended up being $1060.86. After I got the car back I drove it for a day without issues, but on my way home from work the following day it was slipping and making a loud tapping noise when the pedal was fully engaged. I have a warranty on the work done so I took it back to get the clutch replaced again. I was told he put another clutch in but never received any receipts or proof and was told that the stock clutch is not strong enough for the power from my stock motor car. I was skeptical so I have taken the car to [redacted] in [redacted] which is a garage that specializes in turbo cars like mine. I was told by [redacted] that the clutch was not adjusted correctly when installed which caused the clutch to be partially engaged all the time.This wore away the clutch a lot faster and the tapping I mentioned earlier was my shift fork. [redacted] opened the transmission and found a bent fork with bad scoring that was caused by the incorrect installation of the clutch. The clutch is also completely worn to the point I can't drive it anymore. Bonnie from Gene's shop along with gene have told me they don't know what's wrong and aren't willing to help me in any way even though they installed the clutch incorrectly and made my car worse than when I took it there originally.Desired Settlement: I would like the money I spent at [redacted] fixing Gene's mistakes back in full.
