I already spoke with this customer, prior to her filing a complaint, and explained that I do not know where she got that rate from, but that is not our rate & that we did bill her at our rate, the same rate that she was told when she called requesting pricingPer the customer she was calling
other companies and then might call backI can only guess that she somehow mixed up the ratesWe did not increase the rate as she states

We do send out a price list in January, so that customers can use it as a guide to estimate what it would cost for disposal of certain itemsWe do ask customers to call us if they are going to have extras, partially so we may make sure they are aware of the correct costUnfortunately sometimes our
costs can change unexpectedlyOur costs to dispose of compost increased & due to that we did have to do increase the price for our customers There was a note on the April bill informing customers of the new rate for compost and that the new price was effective April 1stPrices may vary from our price list in unusual circumstances, such as a very large and/or heavy bagFor example we can’t charge the same for a bag that weighs pounds compared to a bag that weighs pounds
