I will only be able to work as per contract , signed 8/30/, within insurance scope , I cannot refund you money , I cannot pay your deductible , I already offered you mediation , I offered you people
to go over the numbers , the part that you are not understanding is that the insurance paid you in for full replacement of all your siding , and half your roof , you put that money in your pocket , now you want my company to pay for your roof , Again , I will work with you as to costs , the fair cost of the project has been determined by the insurance estimate , I cannot do project for less than or more than that estimate , unless negotiated between us and them , any lower estimate results in a refund to the insurance , not more money in your pocket ,
I am not a lawyer , as far as your law of age , I called my lawyer and asked , the law refers to mental ability , not age , so to make this clear you are saying that in , you were not of stable mental ability ?
From the begging I have been trying to help you , I will honer all of my obligation to you and the insurance , I will work to find a solution and even finance you , I by law need to fallow the rules , lets look at those other estimates together , I will show you why their estimates are lower , and most importantly will not help your situation of having to pay for your mistake in 2002

Gene's did an excellent job in replacing my roofThey completed the work in one day and cleaned up behind themselves very goodI have had roofs replaced before, but this was the most efficient work I have experiencedI would highly recommend Gene's construction for roofing and will use them for other work if the need arises

The way I have been treated by Gene leads me to arbitrationIn his response here on the Revdex.com site he is putting words in my mouth oftenI really didn't remember anything about a claim from Due to insurance research, I have been shown there was was a claim filedGene has tried to paint me as trying to rip off the insurance companyHe even told me to tell the insurance company I had the work done in order to get a full roof replacementHe also stated at our first meeting he would be able to get the siding, gutters and soffits doneAs I've stated before, he saw the insurance estimate (with the deduction for the claim) and even took it with him, returning it the next dayHe didn't even mention the ceiling estimateWhy? He has many times either ignored what I've said or had lapses in memoryI definitely am afraid to do ANY business with himHe is certainly one of a kind and I have never run across a contractor like him before and I hope I never do again! I would be very afraid of his work and word

Gene's of Apple Valley Construction is a company we plan to use again and again They are honest, reliable and do excellent work They worked with us in an insurance claim for wind and hail damage to our home It was seamless after that They handled all of the paper work and provided the needed crews to repair the damage to our home In the end, we received a new roof, siding and gutters
We also took advantage of Gene's expertise in energy efficiency He also personally assessed our attic insulation and made recommendations on improving the efficiency of our home Once the work was complete we had lower energy bills this past winter
We plan to utilize them again this spring for some remodeling needs
This a QUALITY company that listens to the homeowner, shares their expertise and delivers service that was beyond our expectations

Gene was very effective in working with our insurance company to have them cover our roof replacement due to a hail storm He also was able to get coverage for a number of windows to be replaced, as well as our gutters and downspouts We have a fairly large and somewhat complex roof and his crew took off the old roof and installed the new roof, valleys and venting all in one day They did an excellent on the roof and the cleanup of all the waste I did recommend Gene to others, one of which was my neighbor, who also was very pleased Dave of Lakeville

*** *** showed up at my door while working with my neighbor on May 8, 2014, saying I had damage to my roofThis was causing water to leak into my daughter's bedroomI went to get my insurance paperwork and came outside to find he was already on the phone with my insurance company filing a claimAfter that, he called us regularly at 6:30am, showed up at our house unannounced multiple times a week to collect money and harassed us and our insurance company for moneyIt got to a point that my insurance company even hung up on himHe never started the work and never even provided an estimateOur insurance company requested an estimate multiple times, as did we, but he never provided oneAll he was concerned about was getting them and us to give him moneyThere were many times that he said things that were completely unrelated to our situation, he asked us about things that we had already discussed multiple times, he left us voicemails that were meant for other people, he told us the insurance company had already approved the windows when they hadn't, etc We attempted to talk to him about our concerns many times, but he refused to talk about them and just asked for moneyA month and a half later, we chose to go to another contractor after being fed up with his bizarre behavior and lack of workThis contractor came in and told us immediately that there was mold growing in my daughter's room and she couldn't sleep in there until it was fixedThis shows the urgency in completing the work and ***'s lack of starting could not continueAfter telling *** we were no longer using him, he started in with a barrage of harassing emails and threatened to sue usHe even called the Revdex.com to report itTheir response was that the contract was never executed and no service was done, so there was nothing to mediateHe tried to get my husband to work with him directly and leave me out of itI finally had to call the police on him for harassment and they suggested I fill out a no trespassing *** After all of this, he sent us a bill for $1,WHAT??? He never even did anythingI am sure he will attempt to put a lien on my house now and this will end up in court
months later, and he still hasn't started any work on our neighbor's house eitherMy new contractor has already completed the roof and submitted an estimate to our insurance company for the rest of the claim after only a week

Gene really went to bat for us when we needed to get our roof replacedHe dealt with the insurance company when they only wanted to cover part of the cost and managed to get the entire roof paid forThe insurance company sent out a few different adjusters at different times and each time Gene was there to talk to them and to take the tarp on and off the roof so the adjuster could see the damageIt was a long process but Gene stuck with it and got the job done

*** did a fantastic job for us We had hail damage to the roof, siding, entry door and roof Originally we worked with a different contractor who made a mess submitting our insurance claim and we got denied We were left with no hope of getting our hail damage repaired and paid for by the insurance
That's where *** came in He took the matters into his capable hands and using his thorough knowledge of insurance worked with our claim adjuster to help us He insisted that the claim was valid and was able to convince the adjuster to pay for everything Once everything was paid for, I was able to pick my materials and colors from a wide variety of samples The installation was timely and as promised The crew was very efficient, they showed up on time and there were no issues
I was a little nervous about picking the right colors, but *** showed me which colors would work best with my design and I am glad I listened I am very happy with the overall result and I will not hesitate to hire *** again!!!
