Revdex.com spoke to the owner of the business who stated the customer brought her vehicle in because the transmission was slippingWhile looking at her car, he noticed she had hit something in the road, and that she needed a new transmissionThe owner suggested to the customer that she reach out to her insurance to file a claim so that she would not have to pay for the transmission out of pocketHe also stated that in the customer's complaint she alleges he kept the vehicle for days, but he states the delay was a result of waiting for the insurance company to act, and that the first transmission they provided did not work, and they had to send a second one, which took an additional weekHe also stated that during this time, the customer was driving in a newer vehicle at no cost that was provided by her insurance companyHe also states that she did not pay for the work, to be done, her insurance didHe also said that the customer paid $for her deductible, which is the amount she is requesting for the alleged damage to the vehicle, and believes this customer may be trying to simply recoup the deductible she paid to the insurance companyHe said that the dogs at his shop were separated from the vehicle by a fence, and the dogs did not cause any damageHe also stated if she believes the dogs to have caused the scratches (which are on an older vehicle) he recommends that she file an insurance claim as he does have good insurance coverage which would cover that if he were found to be responsibleHe said he will not fix the damages as requested because he does not do body work, only transmission work, and that if the customer believes damages were done, she should file an insurance claim

Revdex.com spoke with the owner of the business who stated that the customer is incorrect, and that the issue she came in for the second time was not the same issue she had come in for previouslyHe stated that when she came in the first time, the car had to be towed in because the battery was dead, and
there wasn't enough power to the computer to run the vehicleHe said that he made her aware of the charge for a diagnostic before it was completed, and she agreed to that chargeHe stated that when he gave her the price to replace the battery she declined his estimate, but purchased a battery elsewhere and took the carHe stated that when she came in the second time she drove the car in, because it was not a battery issue like it had previously been, but a different issue altogetherThe owner said that the current issue with the vehicle has nothing to do with the issue she initially came in for, and stands by that diagnosisThe money paid was for the diagnostic performed and he stated he will not offer a refund

The allegation that I am simply attempting to receive the $deductible back is absurd and repulsiveThat is not my goal at allThe following day after I received my car back from the shop I visited a local body shop and they gave me an estimate of $to get the damage fixed and told me that the damage came from a dog; which I already suspectedSince filing my complaint I have received feedback on this shop and that they do very bad businessThe fact that an accusation has been made that I'm attempting to get my deductible back is just confirming thatI pay insurance every month on time my car insurance is supposed to take care of situations like this, so I don't understand why half of his response was about those things and not the issue at handMy car was damaged while in the shops care and I was discriminated against in a demeaning way when I attempted to gain some clarity on the situationI am not from that area and had I been warned, I would've never done business somewhere that the owner made it clear to me that Integrity means nothing to himI don't want or need the money; If the owner doesn't understand that and is attempting to find away to manipulate the situation and not hold his shop accountable then I would even accept them or their insurance to pay a body shop directlyIf I take a claim up with my insurance than my insurance will be paying for it and my rate will go up, they're responsible so their insurance should payMrCharles also attempted to whip the damage off using a substance when I brought my car back the very next dayIf his shop was 100% not responsible for it, why would he even touch the damage having knowledge of my accusationIt was impossible to have a civilized conversation with MrCharles, he continuously boasted about how he has great insurance, he was rude and demeaning, exhibited himself in an ignorant manner, lashed out with discriminatory comments, and upheld himself to not even the minimum customer service expectationsHe was very aggressive and would not let me get a point across, I eventually had to just tell him to have a nice day and depart before subjecting myself to anymore of his behaviorAs a college graduate and current Graduate Student I would hate for anyone else to unknowingly deal with what I had to from this local car shop ownerI also have videos of the damage, my conversation with the owner, and his unsuccessful attempt to wipe off the damage

Revdex.com spoke with the business regarding this caseThis customer was refunded for the flywheel cover because the business was not able to get a new one and had to order an after market oneRegarding the transmission mount the customer was not charged for any work done on the mount because the
business did not work on the mount and so would not have been in a possible to cross thread those boltsThe vehicle was not leaking when it left the shop and the customer would have had to chance to voice concern if it had beenAt this time the customer has been refunded for the flywheel and this matter has been addressed by the business
