Better Business BuThey did install the surge protector and I do thank them for that.  I do not agree that it is compared to a surge protector on a tv which you buy and install yourself.  I feel my $30,000 system was left unprotected for months and we never knew it.  The surge protector should have been installed at the time the unit was installed.  Instead it was never mentioned until now.

Regarding the client's complaint, I am not sure what the issue is other than they did not like our pricing and choose not to use us. A real plumber who is retired from the water district where he served his career working on water and waste supply lines and is well versed in plumbing specifically...

slab leaks was dispatched to the home and met with the tenant. After several attempts to contact the homeowner, the homeowner was reached and was given a price over the phone to complete the repair properly. The service manager was consulted to assist the plumber on proper pricing due to the extensive work that would be required including backfilling slab and concrete work. The homeowner several weeks ago posted a complaint on Yelp to which I immediately responded, providing my personal mobile number so he could contact me to resolve his issue, I never heard from the homeowner.  I have a copy of the phone call from when the homeowner called in that lasts 10 minutes and 53 seconds in which the trip fee of $99.00 was explained was to get a plumber to the home, locate the leak and provide pricing. In that conversation, the homeowner asks if we will be able to find the leak and perform the work. The homeowner states on the call,“because you know what, it’s just so weird sometimes with plumbing they will send one guy to look at it and maybe send another guy and send another guy next week to fix it, I was like what”  He then went on to state how stupid that was and how you don’t need those guys.  So perhaps we are being confused with another plumber he called out, or maybe he is lumping all plumbers together. We received the call at 4:58 pm on Thursday, February 23rd and we had a plumber on site at 5:47 PM. We were ready willing and able to perform the work that evening and had a second crew with Jackhammers and concrete saws standing by to assist in the repair if the homeowner gave authorization. Again, perhaps based on his statement above made to our CCR when he booked the call he has us confused or is lumping us in with another company he called out. As far as our pricing, as a contractor who repairs slab leaks regularly and works with insurance companies, our pricing is fair and consistent. At the end of the day, we did everything we stated we would do and the homeowner choose of his own free will not to use us. If the homeowner would like a refund of his trip fee, I would encourage him to pursue a refund through his CC Company which I am confident he is not because the CC Company would rule in our favor. Additionally, It is a shame the Revdex.com does not have a site for businesses to rate customers so when slanderous and unfounded statements are made against a business such as is the case here, we can share with other businesses the exploitive, and slanderous individuals they should avoid.

Per notes provided to client a recommendation was made to install a urge protector, this is simply a recommendation that we make after recently learning they are recommended by the utilities. It is now a standard recommendation and is not included in a system purchase just as a surge protector is...

In January of 2016 we were not making this recommendation. As a note this recommendation was made on September 13th the same day this complaint was filed. That same day the client contacted our service manager  [redacted] who was unaware the client had contacted the Revdex.com. [redacted] had a technician scheduled to go out to the home  out to their home on September 14th to install a surge protector at no charge. This issue was promptly handled outside of the Revdex.com, we hope the client shows the same promptness in acknowledging this issue has been handled promptly even knowing I was out of town the service manager took the initiative  to take care of the client. Thank you,[redacted]General Manager General Air Conditioning and Plumbing
