On October 16th I was out to Mr. [redacted]'s home and cleaned two wood burning units, and the furn.

description is to remove the flammable substance from the wood burners, which is called Creosote, which can form in a variety of different fashions & places, depending on things such as the quality of wood and at what temperatures they are burned at. Where the creosote accumulates depends largely on how the system is constructed, and the type of system. The minimal Creosote that did exist was removed in a professional and timely manner. Mr. [redacted] also was given a $108.00 discount on the cleaning.
Mr. [redacted] received the services he requested and received. I feel his request is undeserving and quite frankly, unfair.
I will not refund Mr. [redacted], nor will I do the job twice.

I read the response from the company and I cannot believe this is OK and acceptable. This is a bad business, and someone that has been taking advantage of Minnesota residents for years. I understand there is only so much that can happen from a Revdex.com stand point, but I think it's important that they are no longer allow to take advantage of the public.
A couple points...in his response he talked about the build up in a fireplace and give a definition, Why, he is right, it is flammable and there is now way he checked or did anything but vacuum out my fireplace with a wet/dry vac. He did go into the pipes from below, he didn't go into the pipes from above. I recently had a company come out and check and they said it's been years and that my stoves pipes were a risk.
To the company! It's time to stop being dishonest. Something will happen and a family home could be damaged. I don't care how long you have been ripping off the public. You have been caught. It was obviously as expensive lesson for me, but I'm asking you to stop taking advantage of people.
This is a safety concern and I don't have the money to throw at court costs, but I will do everything in my network of friends and business partners to ensure that they know the truth about this company. I've seen this company in my neighborhood and have asked at least 5 people about their experience, at the beginning most were positive, when I asked specifics, they became concerned. I know that these families will not be using this company again.
