I recently put clothes in general clothes for dry cleaning and when return to get clothes they only return half of my clothes. over the last few days they have been giving me the run around about where abouts. I talked to owner aand was told she believed her employee and wasnt going to refund me for lost items or couldn't find them. all I want is my clothes back and if not clothes compensate for lose thingsDesired Settlementif I could get my clothes back I would love that but if not compensate me for lose thingsBusiness Response We checked our computer records and they showed that all the customer's clothes had been picked up and paid for. Our counter clerk remembers giving Mr. [redacted] all of his orders back and settling the account. Furthermore, we checked all of our inventory and there weren't any clothes leftover under his account. There is no reason for him to have paid for his clothes if he hadn't picked them up yet, so he definitely picked up all of his clothes from us. There is nothing more that we can do because all the proof points towards him having picked up all his clothes and no proof of us losing anything. Therefore, we will not compensate any of his claims because all the facts show that there is no fault from us. He already talked to our counter clerk and said that the matter was finished.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I would like to thank you for looking into my complaint however I'm not going any further with this complaint. It was my fault for preparing for my dry cleaning before getting my clothing and taking the word of an employee of a business that my things were going to be there the next day and returning me my receipt of things that I don't have with the receipt of me preparing for them. Thanks again and may GOD BLESS THEM THIEVES..Final Business Response We are sorry that Mr. [redacted] feels that way. However, our stance is the same with all the evidence that we have. We thank you for your patronage.
