I was not aware that *** *** was the owner of the lot where I bought the carIt's not a surprise that when I asked for the owner of the business, that I was not given his nameHe was very nice to me, and had I know, I could have called him direct, and I am sure we could have worked this out between usDid I buy this in "as-is" condition, sure I did and I have to accept thatWe can close this case, but I am hardly satisfiedI still contend that the lot never should have had this car for sale in the condition that it was in, especially for the price that they were askingThere is no way they were ever going to get it sold to anybody else that would have looked at it a little closerBesides the problems that I mentioned before, it also has no spare tire, no key fob, and many other minor problems that would have kept it from selling for anywhere near the full priceAfter replacing the battery, it still goes dead after sitting for more than two daysAnd just for the record, I did not receive any additional ID's from Indiana

I am rejecting this response because: I no longer waqnt to purchase a vehicle there aftet all ive went thru and the lies ive heard. I still have no idea as to why they have 300$ of mine. They must always tell people tvey are approved and try to keep their downpayment just to earn some kind of revenue..Also lieing to banks is fraud. They told the bank I had paid complete downpayment in cash.

Customer quit his job. Employment and employment verification thereof was a loan stipulation. Customer refused to return car. Car had to be recovered by dealer. I will attempt to verify the employment stipulation and employment history. Customer did agree to buy the car, According to the finance company;the financing was not complete because of an employment verification. The option to pay cash or seek other financing remains an option. The $300 that was retained would be applied.
This gentlman appeared at an GFB General Fleet Brokers Inc. lot very early in the morning. I, [redacted] founder of GFB listened to the afore mentioned saga of misfortune. I informed the pedestrian that I would not sell him the; one or two thousand dollar vehicle that he was seeking, without...
proper I.D. . He stated that he wanted to trade sell, or find some one to take his rv to Indiana. He did not say that the motor was blown. I offered coffee, fax computer or a ride if he desired or needed them. He said he had ID in Indiana and would try to contact someone to retrieve acceptable ID and have it transmitted to him in Odessa. When asked about another lot, I directed him East to another lot which might not be as policy restricted as GFB.Fortunatly, this cusomer was able to retrive acceptable ID and present it to another GFB owned lot to the West. They sold him a Pontiac for $6200.. I checked our work log, no electrical service problems were noted. If a battery was installed, it was done so at the lot managers discretion and has was not charged to the vehicle. The battery could be warrantiable at it's trade name vendor's store.This vehicle was presented for sale in as is/ where is condition. The purchasor agreed to the written as is/ terms and was given copies of all disclaimer and sales documents. GFB will reproduce and send him addional copie upon request.Upon request and at the customers direction, all documents will be submitted to Revdex.com. This seems to be a general "LIFE IS NOT GOOD" catagory comlpaint.Thank You,[redacted]
