This company installed the Heating & Cooling Unit in my home and is not standing behind its services. Tried reaching out several times no resolve.
This company installed an AC unit in my home which was a new home. I called them during the May of 2019 because my unit was no longer cooling. They sent someone out on the 24th of May to look at the unit. The tech stated on the invoice in the Diagnosis area that it was low on Freon and Don't think there is a leak. He added 2.5 pounds of R-410 A. Within 30 days the unit was no longer cooling. I called the tech and the company back several times , but no resolution. Called again in May 2020 and was told that they no longer service this area,, that I needed to find someone else. I called another company in May 2020 and the Diagnosis is that there is a leak in the coil. The model number is *** Serial number
I would like my unit fix with no cost to me.
Metro Heating and Cooling Inc , installed and started up the equipment on 6-6-2017 for a Home Builder in the Huntsville area , the equipment and New Home install was accompanied with a standard 1 year labor warranty
The first initial No cooling service call was received by Metro on 5-24-2019 , which was 23 months after the Start up date and 11 months after the initial 1 year warranty had ran out. AS a good will gesture Metro sent a service tech out to the residence in order to verify the issue and during the service call Metro added refrigerant to the unit in which the homeowner declined paying for , which no standard factory warranty covers. Metro had an Ownership change in 2018 which was also after the 1 year labor warranty pertaining to this house and homeowner , Metro no longer is affiliated in Huntsville with the Builder of the home and Metro no longer provides service in the Huntsville area. Metro has went above and beyond its liability to assist with this situation but the customer continues to insist that no responsibility lies with them pertaining to Out of Warranty Failures or repairs. Metro did recommend acquiring a Local service company in the Huntsville area to repair her system , because the parts warranty for the equipment is still current up to 5 years
