ordered day priority shipping from General Hobby and received ground shipping to days, will not answer the phone and will not return messages when left at the business, what a rip joint

I ordered a Pradio controlled model airplane from this outfit in silverI did receive a model in reasonable time but nothing about it was as advertisedFirst, the color was olive drab not silverColors of different parts of the model were different, the finish on some parts was matte and glossy on othersThe stripes and other finish details had over spray sometimes as much as a half inchThe nose gear steering servo was inoperable and none of the gear will lock and stay downI tried through phone messages and emails to reach him for customer serviceHe didn't respond to eitherI filed a complaint with my credit card and he wouldn't respond to the bank eitherMy credit card credited me back for the purchase and charged it back to General HobbyHe had days to charge me againHe waited until the last minute and charged it to my credit card againI had to get an opinion letter from a local hobby shop owner confirming that the merchandise was unacceptable and a letter from me confirming that I was willing to return it to him at his expense for a refundThen I had to wait another days for him to respondHe didn't and my bank made the credit permanentFinallyDo business with this guy at your own risk

I received my order quickly and undamaged. That said there are some concerns that make me wonder. An email was sent to me that the order was received and shipped, but with no tracking info,or how even sent. Shipping cost was fine, 20.00. And was as it turned out UPS'ed.
I have tried to contact General Hobby by phone and email but have never received a reply, so it makes me wonder what customer service would be like. I think they would proffitt if they clean this part of their system up.

This has to be the worse RC online retailer I have ever tried to do business with. I ordered a Super Decathlon kit version plane from them on 9/10/15. That evening I received an Email from Richard stating that the kit version was not in stock but that he had the PNP version. He asked if I would pay an additional $13.00 which is 1/2 the difference in price for the PNP version. I agreed to the additional cost and sent it by Pay Pal that evening. He said it would be shipped the next morning. On Friday the 11th of Sept I received a tracking number from Richard saying that the Post Office was to expect the package for shipment. I expected to have the plane on Monday but it did not arrive. When it did not arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday I started to do some investigating. I tried both of General Hobbies phone numbers and Email addresses with negative results. I contacted the USPS and was told that the package was never received at the Post Office. I Emailed General Hobby again to both Email addresses and called both phone numbers. I still had no response from Richard. I then filed a claim with Pay Pal on Friday the 18th 2015. I was refunded all my money that evening by Richard.
All of this could have been avoided if the web site had shown the item being out of stock, and if Richard had communicated with me. I can handle being told the truth, but I will not tolerate being lied to, especially by a business owner when money is changing hands.
I hope others read this and stay away from General Hobby.
