To Whom It May Concern,Monday, October 16, 2017, while completing a weekly review of Durango II, I encountered a gentleman whom I had never met taking pictures of plants in the breezeway located between ESan Angelo and ESan Pedro AveWhile heading to talk with my detail crew foreman, I introduced myself and asked what he was taking pictures of, he turned and responded that the plants were overgrown and he was documenting his case to have the management and landscape company firedI then told him that I work for City Property Management and that we are the company he is trying to get firedHe continued about how he felt plants were overgrown and I walked him over to a sage nearest to the tot-lot and explained the thought process behind Sustainable? Landscape Management (SLM).? We continued to discuss the pro's on SLM best practices and how it is in the communities best interest for approximately? an hourTowards the end we migrated all the way down the walking path to his home, he then proceeded to ask questions regarding his maintenance, which I obliged himAs I was leaving, he said he completely understood and appreciated why we were doing what we were doing, and how he thought you "Chris" were ignoring his concerns, when in fact you were doing what is in the best interest as a homeownerHe said he was going to issue an apology at that pointI then proceeded to tell him we are all here to help and to point and work orders to the management company for resolve.? Although the business owner’s account of our interaction is not completely accurate, for the most part, I will accept his accounting with the clear understanding that I never said thst I was going to issue an apology! I stated that possibly an apology was in orderI stoll believe that some of the landscaping is overgrown but I will not go forward with any complaint at this timeI also never illicited this person’s help to use any specialized information to help me with my landscapingI, merely identified areas of concern thst I possibly need to address with two of my bushes and he responded in kind! Please do not inply that I sought out info for my personal gain; I have and always have had, my own capable landscapers! There are interior aspects of the community that still need to be addressed because of the overgrown nature of the shrubberyThat is an absoluteThey can do better!
