Per our office policy there is a fee for no show/cancelled appointments under 24 hour notice.  This client no showed for  three consecutive appointments and with no advance calls to cancel.  The provider had other clients on a waiting list for appointments that could have been seen...

for therapy on those days.  The responsible party refused to pay balance due on the account. After speaking with the provider, they reduced the fee and the balance has been adjusted accordingly.  We called the responsible party and left a voice message to let him know the balance has been reduced and they can make payments. The client has not returned our phone call nor made payments to the account. General Psychological Associates
