Based on the cancellation forms that are dated 1/3/it is possible Mr*** didn’t understand that because he has a loan on the coach the refund checks are sent to the bank in his
name and the banks name to be applied against the loanSo the money was sent months ago to the bank against his loanAll documentation is available, due to it being financial I did not attach itMr*** can contact us direct or contact the bank holding the loan to confirm it was refunded against the loan balance. We did honor his request but he will not get the refund directly, all warranty refunds go to the lienholder if there is one

A Cornerstone service contract cancellation was processed for MrRichard *** effective 7/23/2014. Mr*** received a pro-rated refund for his service contract in the amount of $1,130.90. I am rejecting this response because: The Service Manager & I asked agreed for me to contract with a local RV repair company to complete the refrigerator repairs, pay the bill myself and submit the paid bill for General RV for reimbursementI am also to try and repair the window blinds and loose front LED lighting myself, with the understanding that General RV will complete these repairs if I can notI will close this complaint after the repairs are done am I am reimbursed for my expenses

It is very clear the person who wrote the response for General RV in Orange park,FL has not researched anything Fortunately, I am a CPA with a masters degree in accounting and finance, and I currently hold a position as a Supervisory Auditor with the Defense Contract Auditing Agency I audit contract terms daily! I have also worked for a car dealership finance before, and I fully understand the refund process In fact, I had to correct your finance manager on the topic, because he tried telling me I had to demonstrate to him I had a specific coverage on my insurance to even request a refund He was wrong
As for the date of the forms...well, I can tell whomever you are, you are not in contact with anyone who knows anyone about this issue I contacted my bank on Friday 5/29/(First Merit), and they confirmed nothing other than my regular monthly payments have been received I then called General RV I asked *** the receptionist who replies to Revdex.com complaints, and she said *** usually handles these So I talked to *** He said corporate replies directly to the complaints, not him So whomever your are, you are not aware of the issueI explained the situation to Craig, who plainly said, it should be easy to see if a check was cut and when *** called me back and said that the two refunds were received from the two companies, however they were received at corporate late in April, and they had not had a chance to send them to my bank yet Let me remind you and everyone else, this conversation was May 29, 2015, and if refunds were received in April, this is inexcusable*** did not provide a dollar amount, but I assure you there is a time value of money here Your withholding my refund for months at this point, on a year warranty, pretty much costs me 25% of the refund, plus the interest my bank has charged me I suggest you contact me to discuss making me whole and providing a full accounting Simply sending a "check" to my bank would not suffice without full and proper compensationHow can your company respond to the Revdex.com saying it was a closed matter, when you did not such research, and then try to embarrass me saying I do not understand the process

A refund was issued to the consumer ([redacted]) on 2/13/18.

The complaint was addressed and the repairs have been made to the unit. The service manager has kept Mr. [redacted] informed along the way. The Management team worked with Mr. [redacted] to get his repairs completed and delivered his RV back to his home.

Mr. [redacted] is correct, I rely on the management at the stores to address the concerns of customers.  I did not have accurate information from my first request from Jacksonville General RV.
 
In discussion with [redacted], the Operations Manager.  He has emailed me after his conversation with Mr [redacted] and [redacted] is confident this is now resolved.

I emailed the check copies to Mr. [redacted] for him for his review. I spoke to him this afternoon and he satisfied with the amounts of the checks. He thanked us for getting this taken care of. He is still waiting on notification or confirmation from his lender that they have received the checks. This is expected to take another week at this time, due to bank processing.

Customer's warranty claim was outside the guidelines for the manufacturer to cover the repairs. Water intrusion was caused by debris on the top of the slide room interfering with the sweep seal and causing voids in the seal. We have resubmitted the claim and have asked for an exception from the manufacturer (Forest River - Prime Time RV Division). As of February 5th, 2015 we are still waiting on a response from Forest River's - Prime Time RV Division.
