Review: On March * 2014, I called my insurance to request a new pair of glasses, they indicated to me to choose any store that accept my insurance, so I went to Cohen Fashion , the told me that the glasses will cost me $195 which I paid with my Discover credit card, right after I called the insurance again and told them about the matter, they said that they cover a pair glasses c year for me for free and that Cohen has charged me too much. I called Cohen and spoke with the lady who made the sale her name is [redacted] and she is the [redacted],, she told me to come back the following Monday to get my refund and I told her that, I must report to Federal Jury Duty that day therefore it was impossible for to go to the store, I asked to just go head a refund my credit card, she indicated that she only has the last four digits of my card, she needed me to bring the card in other to get refundI called my bank and notified them about the issue, they said hence the sale was cancelled in the spot and that the [redacted] agreed to give me refund, she shouldn't charged my card anyway but they didSo I called the bank the following week and file a dispute charge against Cohen, two months ago, [redacted] the [redacted] called me and sais that my bank has sent her a letter of dispute and she wanted me to drop the dispute with my bank and go to the store get my refund, I told her that if she truly wanted to refund me, she should do it while responding to the bank letter and she got madShe responded to the bank that, their store policy allow only store credit which she never mentioned to me on any shape or form and I never took anything from the store in the first place, didn't received nor get anything from them for them to want to apply now the store policyDesired Settlement: Full refund to my Discover credit card or money back

At this time, I have not been contacted by Cohen Fashion regarding complaint ID [redacted].

Sincerely,

I have not been contacted directly by Cohen Fashion regarding this matter since my complaint was filed with Revdex.com;

Quite frankly, I dont expect much anyway from this merchant , the [redacted] is a liar, she twist and fabricate events to their favor, they dont have any moral and ethic in terms of business dealing.

As far as I am concern, I will prevent my family, friends, neighbors, or anyone I came across with to go to Cohen Fashion Optical.

TMhey careless about good business practice, or customer satisfaction, the only thing , they indeed care about is making a sale at all cost.

This is my bad experience with Cohen Fashion Optical

Review: I PLACED AN ORDER FOR SAFETY GLASSES USING A WORK VOUCHER. WHEN THE ORDER WAS PLACED, I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD TAKE 3 TO 5 WEEKS FOR THE GLASSES TO BE READY. 3 MONTHS HAVE PASSED FROM THE DATE THAT THE ORDER WAS PLACED BUT STILL NO GLASSES. I HAVE CONTACTED GVS NUMEROUS TIMES WITH NO RESPONSE FROM GVS. I HAVE GONE TO THE STORE AND THEY ARE TELLING ME THAT THE GLASSES ARE STILL IN PROCESS.Desired Settlement: SAFETY GLASSES AT GVS EXPENCES ASAP.

Sincerely,

Review: I purchased eyeglasses (frames and lenses) from Bronx EyeCare with a Groupon Voucher on June *, 2013. The Voucher was for $225.00 toward frames and lenses. I paid $35.00 for the voucher which also included an eye exam. Bronx Eyecare padded the sale with other products and services such as insurance for $25.00 and "anti-glare" for $75.00. I did not need or want insurance nor "anti-glare". Also, I'm questioning the amount for the lenses which are reading lenses. I was quoted $90.00 for reading lenses-not $225.00. The frames alone were $149.00. So, out of pocket I paid $250.00. I contacted the Manager, [redacted], by certified mail/returned receipt requested. My letter was received June [redacted]. I requested a refund for the insurance ($25.00) and anti-glare ($75.00) totaling $100.00. The manager has not responded to my letter.Desired Settlement: Refund for unordered services: insurance for $25.00 and anti-glare for $75.00 totaling $100.00. (I'm also questioning the amount for the prescription reading lenses).
