Dear Ms***I read the complaint listed above and would like to respond to themFirst off, I believe in high quality child care and I believe that is what Generations providesWe strive to provide each child a warm and loving atmosphere while maintaining a positive relationship with the
familiesWe have great documentation to prove that we provide quality childcare through licensing, our accreditation's as well as other parents and customersI am sorry that you became upset after we had to disenroll your child due to you being inappropriate with the other children in the classroom and the teachersI will not allow anyone to interrogate our children over who may have or may not have hit your child, and I will not tolerate parents being emotionally abusive to my staff, nor will I allow a parent to bring accusations about our staff, center or other children without taking action. The incident that happened with *** was a child running and falling like children do*** was running on the playground and triped and fell hitting his mouthThe teachers instantly brought him inside and the teacher who was supervising him contacted his father immediately while the other teacher took care of *** The incident happened at 12:10pm and we spoke with dad at 12:25pmYou did not answer your phone so they left a message and promptly contacted your husband who is on your emergency contact list as well as who drops off *** dailyMy staff followed company protocol exactly as it should be followed and did not wait minutes as you stated in your complaint(please see attached incident report that was signed by all parties) *** dad came and picked him up around 2pm, a couple hours later and took him home*** did not take the child to the doctor till later that night and that is when she was told by the doctor that he did not need stitches and that *** would heal just fineWhen *** asked me about paying the bill, I told her that I would get with the owners and let them know she was asking about itIn our policies and procedures it also states that we are not help responsible for accidents such as these, that was also signed by youChildren are going to fall, that is part of life and he fellThis was an accident and nothing could of prevented it, therefore we feel that we are not liable *** stating that I did not care about the accusations is also a misrepresentation of the facts*** called me and asked if I could set up a parent-teacher conference to discuss *** progress in the classroomI set up a meeting with his teacher and as soon as the teacher sat down *** started accusing her of mistreating her childNever did *** come to me in advance and say anything about the mistreatment that supposedly happened weeks prior to the meeting, nor did she say anything to me when she asked to have a parent teacher conference about his progressI told *** that this accusation would be investigated and that I take every concern seriouslyI then did my investigation, I spoke with other parents, teaching staff and children including *** and non of the parents or staff had any concerns and were shocked that this was an accusation on this teacher When speaking with *** he smiled the whole time we spoke about his teacher and said he liked her and she never hurt him.*** states that she talked with *** the office assistant, *** is the assistant director not the office assistant*** has been instructed to not speak with *** and to let *** and the owners handle the situation going forward as *** has been harassing the child care facility and filing reports to DFPSDFPS has come out to the center on multiple occasions and has cleared us of any wrong doing(see attached documentation). Finally, our owner deeply cares about her childcare centers and every child we serveShe has done so much in the community, for the community, and for the children that we serve, so to say that she is unprofessional as an owner is ridiculous*** knows this as she used to be an employee with our company*** is very sick and in and out of the hospital, thus why she hired me to oversee all operations of the facility*** not being able to be involved is absolutely devastating to her to say the leastPeople making accusations against her successful business that she worked so hard to build up for the past years is disgraceful
