Review: He was hired to be a sub contractor and do some work at our house in lakeview. He was contracted to do 3 jobs. 1-repair 2nd floor bedroom, 2- build a carport, 3- install a wooden perimeter fence around our house. Total scope of projects was $28,000 from his quote. He told us he needed a deposit to order supplies. We gave him an $8,000 deposit. He did order some wood for the 2nd floor bedroom and started on it. He worked for about a week and then we did not see him anymore. We called, left messages, went to where he told us he lived. He never did respond to us. My husband and I had to hire someone else to complete the job. The new contractor had to undo the work Gene had started because it was not up to code. We never got a penny back from him!!!!Desired Settlement: We would like our money back!!!!
