information:The custom-made dress agreement was signed between Genesis Bridal and [redacted].  Thus, we did not sign any custom-made dress agreement with [redacted] whose name is on the Revdex.com complaint.
The date information listed on the customer complaint is incorrect. According to our records, the customer ([redacted]) signed the agreement for the custom-made dress for her under-aged daughter on February 6, 2014 and not 1/20/2014 as indicated on the complaint.
Here are our records of the chronology of events pertaining to the dress:
On March 27, 2014, the customer along with her under-aged daughter came for the daughter's first dress fitting.  After the fitting, the customerinformed us that she was pleased with the progress of the dress.
The customer contacted us on March 28, 2014 to inform us that she would like a different fabric, which she will provide.  We agreed to accept the different fabric even though we had already spent seven hours of workmanship on the dress.
Our company spent another 12 hours of labor to redo the dress since the customer brought a new fabric.
On April 3, 2014, the customer along with the under-aged daughter and another person ([redacted]) came for a second fitting.  When they came, the customer informed that she would like for us to insert a slip she had brought with her into the dress.  We agreed to insert the slip even though it was not part of the agreement.  This also took another 2 hours of our time.
On April 4, 2014, the customer along with the under-aged daughter and [redacted] came for the third and finalfitting.  When they came, [redacted] informed us that she would like to make another change to the style.  We became concerned about this request since it was the night of the dress pick up.  Also, it was [redacted] who signed the agreement but it had become apparent that [redacted] was initiating such a huge request.
We therefore asked the customer, [redacted] to sign a new agreement but she refused.  It is against our policy to make such changes to a custom-made dress without signing the changes in writing.  It was reiterated to the customer that just as she signed an agreement specifying the style before the work was started, she would have to sign another agreement requesting the change but she refused and [redacted] asked that they leave.
Also, we spent a total of 1.5 hour on each fitting bringing the total hours on the three fittings to 4.5 hours.
There is a breakdown of hours spent on the customer's dress:
7 hours on the original fabric
12 hours when the customer brought a new fabric
2 hours to insert a slip into the dress
4.5 hours of fitting time
Total hours = 25.5
We went above and beyond to please the customer.
Sincerely,

Review: I needed someone to make a dress for my sister's sweet 15. Myself, my mother and my sister when to Genesis and spoke with the owner [redacted]. She told us that she could make the dress we showed her in a picture within our budget. This was 3 months before the event. We paid half up front and half later on. [redacted] for the first month did not return any of our calls. Finally 1 month before my sisters photo shoot she finally calls us to bring my sister in for a fitting. The first fitting was ok but when she showed my mom some material she was going to use for the ruffles in the dress it was the wrong material. My mom asked her why she was using this and she said that it was because she could not find the purple organza needed. My mom asked if she brought it could she use it she said yes so the next day we brought her 7 yards (she asked for 5) yards of the organza she needed. After the first fitting she kept canceling our appointments to the point where sometimes we were half way there and she could not see it. Finally 2 nights before our event our dress was not only not even close to being done but it was hideous and not even close to being what I wanted. I tried to work with her to fix the issues as much as we could ( the materials she used were all wrong and the color was wrong. but we made some compromises) She told me that the dress would be ready the next day by 8 am because she was supposed to have delivered it that night and regardless of anything I said it was NO WHERE being finished. The next day she told me that it would not be done till 6 pm. at 11 pm the night before the photo shoot the dress was still not done and when I went to see it looked like a patchwork quilt. she ran out of materials and didn't want to fix it and then told me that she was going to charge me to fix the issues. She told me that it was not finished because I made changes and that I was supposed to bring the materials. She told me that there was a sheet in the contract that she didn't show us or have us sign. We leftDesired Settlement: I would like the 370.00 dollars back that she charged us. If this does not happen I have my lawyer prepared to sue her for this also all the money that we had to spend canceling the venue (350.00) the make up artist (100.00)the photographer (250.00) plus the cost of the new dress we had to buy the next day by traveling all the way to NYC to find her a dress as her party is this weekend 4.12.14. I just at least want my money back because she didn't deliver a completed dress.
