I am rejecting this response because:
In order for a contract assignment to be legal, the customer must sign the form stating the are aware their contract was assignedThe only contract I signed was with ** *** roofing and I fulfilled the terms of that contract. I asked that Genisis provide me with any kind of proof that I signed an assignment or that they even funded on my job. I sent them my cancelled checks as proof that I had paid but until today, I did not receive any proof. Additionally, their document mearly states they funded ** *** but I do not see a cancelled check or wire transfer proving this. the total for my roof was around $5,and the estimate from state farm included items which were not related to the roof replacementWhen I asked for a complete reconcilement of their numbers I was told that they were very behind and didn't have that informationGenesis also called me and asked me to call state farm and tell them that the check had been cashed fraudulently and for them to retrieve the monies from the account it had been deposited to. I work in banking and have never heard of this, and it would have put me in violation of the contract I signed with ongoing. this is what they offered me as a solution. *** provided to me with a notarized lien waiver as the general contractor on the job which will stand up in court if this continues. the attorney I met with also stated that the lien was not filed timely since it was more than days after the roof had been completed

***Received: February 2016 Attached are an Assignment Agreement from *** *** *** ***(“***” or “Contractor”) entered into with Genesis Capital Ventures, LLC (“GCV” or “Genesis”); an executed contract between *** *** (“***” or “Customer”) and ***; and two (2) Funding Proceeds sheets between Genesis and *** In addition, also attached are two checks written by *** and made payable to ***. GCV funded the Contractor by purchasing insurance backed receivables from ***, as evidenced by the Funding Proceeds sheets The total amount funded for *** was $4, As evidenced by the attached check copy provided by ***, she remitted funds in the amount of $2,to ***, which were correctly forwarded to GCV After payment of these funds, GCV was still due a balance of $2, *** also remitted funds in at least the amount of $2,to ***, as also evidenced by the attached check made payable to *** Those funds were also the property of GCV, again by virtue of the Assignment Agreement executed between *** and Genesis *** fraudulently deposited those funds into its bank account It was this action which lead to a lien being placed on the *** property in an effort by GCV to recover monies rightfully due it Genesis was entitled to collect the insurance proceeds when received by *** for work completed by ***. GCV is simply trying to recover monies funded to *** by the purchase of the Contractors receivables GCV is not trying to extort consumers, but to recover monies rightfully due it by a contractual arrangement entered into between ***, who illegally deposited funds due GCV, and Genesis In addition, GCV has partnered with RoofScamHelp.org to ensure that dishonest contractors are identified and that scam roofers are stopped GCV assists consumers by serving as a third-party quality control firm and liaison with insurance companies The actions of *** constitute conversion and GCV is simply trying to put an end to these dishonest practices By logging on to the RoofScamHelp.org website and reporting these unscrupulous roofers and their practices, these illegal practices can be stopped.
