Much of our work is for the state and those with little or no resources to exist in a safe environmentOur services are impactful and life changing and personally rewardingThe payments, however, are not timely or consistent and quite often I have to stretch a budget to complete a projectEven more often is the underlying conditions when a demo is done on a job and unforeseen conditions ariseThere is always a hidden cost and usually it’s a financial burden that cannot be borne by the participantI have invested much of my own time and money to make up those gaps to insure the job is completedIt is not right for the complainant to state that we took money from any oneAs the complainant wrote, she held monies backI asked the director of the program about that and was told she should not have done thatIt’s hard enough trying to operate with an unpredictable operational cash flow without a client withholding funds as wellAs stated above, we often come up against unforeseen conditions which cause us to have to reschedule projectsThese programs are long tedious processes and everyone who gets involved understands thatIt’s unfortunate that the contractor is the final target of someone’s frustration and easily lashed out against in a forum such as thisWe have only worked deliberate and committedly to our clients and strive to operate in as professional a manner as possibleWe have returned the deposit
