I have had neck problems in September of which my doctor sent me to a neuro spine clinic. at the time I also had attended a trade show and had came in contact with Genesis family Chiropractor Dr [redacted] who offered me a free xray of my neck. being in sever pain and having never been to a chiropractor I decied to give them a try. the first thing they did when I got there was show me films of scare tactic and expanations that if I did not continue there services that I would be crippled for life. they sighted numerious cases where this has happen. including people who discontinued there service and where crippled later shortly after leaving. other explanations were is your life worth severe neck problems for the rest of your life over a few dollars. then they stated I would have to sign on for a long time service where they automatically withdrawl money from my charge card. (automatic payment) my insuranse paid for partial of the first ten visit. I went 3 time a week from september thru November. I notice that the service were not helping me for what I was paying. I stop going in november, but they were still withdrawing from my acount and say I owe up till march. I feel I was scamed from the begining having recevied no benifet from their service but how was I to know I never tried a chiroprator before. I felt I gave it a fair shot. but now I have neck problems I ever had before. it was there continued scare tactics that keeped me going. I am willing to pay for the services I received but I think I am getting charged for times I did not come in (perhaps all of december and more) they say I owe 400 dollars plus 30 dollars cancelation fees. I feel I was scamed about the benifits of there services they even have treaten me with lawers to pay. so I felt compelled to write this letter.
