Says all of Rum River's dealings during the sale and exchange were with Mr ***, and that Mrs ***'s name does not actually appear on sales paperwork.He says that when Mr *** first contacted Rum River Auto Sales indicating he'd broken down hours after the sale, the dealership decided that despite the truck having been purchased "as is," it wanted to attempt to assist Mr *** in some wayRum River Auto Sales then offered to trade Mr *** into a different truck -- says this 2nd truck actually had a higher book value than the original, as it is considered a full-sized truck, versus the mid-sized originalSays Mr *** agreed to this exchange, and seemed appreciative.Mr *** says that shortly thereafter, the dealership heard from Mrs ***, expressing her displeasure with the truck Mr *** had been traded into, and insisting that the dealership do more -- e.g., pay towing fees, fix crack on windshield of truck Mr *** was traded into, etc.He says Rum River was surprised by this, as Mr *** seemed pleased with the dealership's / Nate's efforts to work with him toward a reasonable resolution.Mr *** says that although it was not obligated to assist with repairs / exchange under the "as is" terms of purchase, it feels it went above and beyond by arranging to trade Mr *** into a different vehicle, and will not be able to offer further assistance at this time

I am rejecting this response because: When they sold Me (*** ***) the first truck, the tabs were over due and they did not give us papers to put in the truck for them so if we would have gotten pulled over that would have been a ticketAlso because when we asked about the check engine light that was on we were told that it was an sensor, which was obviously wrong and I feel that they knew the truck was bad before they sold it to mein regards to the 2nd truck that they gave us I was not even around to except the change and that one was put in my husbands name but on the sticker price it was less than what we paid for the first truck $so I do not understand how they say it was worth more unless again they knew that the 1st one was badall I am asking is for either the tows to be reimbursed or the difference of the trucksIf they are unwilling to help out than I will notify the Attorney General and possibly start the court processIn the state of MN even if it sells as is if it brakes within days you have every right to get your money back and in this case it did not even last hours
