Review: Genesis Global Media over promised and under delivered on the agreement of marketing services .I signed the agreement on Sept [redacted] and wrote to terminate effective on Oct *, 2013 as I realized from the incidents below it was big mistake to sign up with them and give them any money. We never officially launched although they had my full pre-payment of $4500, which they cashed the moment they got the check after I asked them to wait to cash it. At every turn it was one bad interaction after another. They were to launch a social media and branding campaign after a thorough analysis and giving a report to me. This never happened and their social media "guru" wanted all my log-ins for social media so they could start posting things without the agreed upon report. I did not trust them to touch my brand without first seeing their plan. I had my marketing person contact their social media person to coordinate with efforts we already were doing . She received vague information and was told they would not tell us what their plan was. Their program lead was [redacted] and I consistently tried to contact him to no avail. We missed our launch date of our product in this process of trying to get the report and contact with [redacted] to officially launch their campaign. This cost me more money in lost sales with inability to get in touch with [redacted]. When I did hear from him about the interaction my marketing person had his response in an email was: I was ridiculous and then demeaned my staff without ever talking to her who has 30 years of marketing experience with:Your Social Media Manager ([redacted]) wanted a step by step tutorial instead of relinquishing the needed information to get started. . . then she wanted to wait until Monday. . . Were not in the business of training imposters who claim to be SMO experts. This was his response as we never received the agreed upon deliverable of the report as to what their plan would be. I emailed three times and called 3 times to get my $$ to no avail.Desired Settlement: I want my full refund back of $4500. I also want money for my lost revenue and time trying to chase them down. This would be a nominal fee to what I have lost and would be an additional $5000. I am in the process of filing suit against Genesis Global Marketing and [redacted] to ensure that this doesn't happen to other businesses.
