Please see report from the investigation that was completed today by BBG’s Operations Manager, Liz C*** with regards to the *** *** Complaint, #*** *** did not follow the instructions to terminate his *** coverage that was provided to him by BBG’s employee, Ulysses C** An insurance broker does not have the authority to cancel coverage on behalf of a clientThe insured’s request to terminate coverage must be in writing from the insured on the insured’s company letterheadThe letter is to be sent to the broker who in turn submits it to the carrier MrCox was clear in his email correspondence what was required to cancel the coverage *** *** sent the cancellation request directly to *** billing in error*** will not process a request submitted in this manner, therefore the group’s coverage was terminated for non-paymentOnce this was brought to BBG’s attention by the client , my Customer Service Manager, Sarah C*** left a message for the insured to call back to assist the insured with this matterI spoke to Sarah as part of our investigation and requesting that Sarah contact the insured today and follow upI will follow up with you and advise you with the results of this phone call.
