Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: the down payment was NOT volunteered by us, it was suggested by the finance **nager. I was asked for $20,000 as down payment for a [redacted]. And this was before speaking to [redacted]. I spoke to a few representatives from Credit acceptance and they informed me the down payment was set by the seller--dealer-- they had nothing to with the amount asked for by the dealer. We were blind sided because of our credit and we desperately needed a vehicle. I should've gone somewhere else to purchase the vehicle. The down payment was way too high, especially when the bank qualified us-- [redacted]--to be able to pay up to $1000 monthly on a vehicle because of our income.
We just financed another vehicle and this time through Kia financing with a lower interest rate and the payments are $8 more a month, and our credit is just as "bad". Why?
Secondly, the car wasn't sold to us for $28,000. The price of the car was definitely $6000 less. The price we were given was $22,027. The insurance was not at fault for the delay it was the Christ**s time and the dealer seemed to take this serious because half the time no one was at the dealer. [redacted] overnights all their paperwork. The dealer took the down payment and didn't deliver the vehicle on a timely **nner. Their business practices are questionable, and I would never do business with them again.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
