Gengras Motor Cars

I logged into BMW of West Springfield web site to schedule service for a recall and a brake fluid flush. I selected my vehicle including the VIN # and was quoted $269 for a brake Fluid change (See attached photo). I dropped my car off at 7:30AM for the service as I needed to leave for a weekend trip at noon. The service department later texted me at 1:50PM and indicated by vehicle was "Brake by Wire" and a brake fluid change would cost $399. I felt safe in assuming that the VIN# I entered for my vehicle would be sufficient to accurately price the brake service on the BMW of West Springfield web site but as it turns out ordinary services for BMW vehicles (sold by this dealership) cannot be accurately priced by this dealership until they physically inspect the vehicle. I have limited time to have my vehicle serviced so I told them to proceed with the at $399 brake service. When I called at 3:30PM for an update the service was still not completed so I told them not to perform the brake service and I will find another service provider because I needed my car to leave for my weekend trip. Extremely disappointed. The service pricing on the BMW of West Springfield web site was so inaccurate for my requested service it feels like consume fraud. I am very disappointed in the service operations of this dealership.
