I purchased a certified used [redacted] ***Never owning a [redacted] before and after the slick finance manager telling me that oil changes run around a couple of hundred dollars and Breaks are very expensive I was talked into purchasing an extended maintenance program for $2,Little did I know that it is only for years and guess what I have only had oil changes and when it was changed today I found out I had to pay $as the years was upI think selling this type of maintenance program should be against the law as for someone who has never owned a [redacted] and being told by a finance person that the maintence is expensive you buy itWell I was taken for a rideI only had oil changed timesWhat a rip offThis kind of product is worse that taking a loan out from a loan shark and paying 300% interest [redacted] buyers beware that if you ever go to this dealer do not buy this product as it is a total rip offI also think [redacted] itself is in on these type of products as when you drive it off the lot and as time goes by you realize the car tells you your brakes will last for 40,miles and the dealer will never have to replace them within the yearsBy the way I was never given a copy of the sheet showing it was for years only a paper saying it was for 50,milesI will never buy from this dealer again!! I was already burned from them buying a [redacted]

The customer purchased the vehicle “as is”, however does have a
service contract that
would cover an engine replacement
*** *** explained she needed to call *** *** first to open a
claim with her service contract and supplied her with the informationShe was
informed that if the repair was NOT covered under the plan that she would need
to pay for both the repair and diagnosisShe was not happy, however that is
policy on as is vehicles
If the diagnosis is in fact a new engine, her service contract will
cover it
see attached copy of purchase order

Its been weeks since we placed $$ cash on a vehicle and have yet to get our $$ backFinancing terms did not work for us as interest rate was too highWe explained this to our sales rep and asked him if we could go pick up our $$ in personHe stated that he wasn't sure what the procedure wasWe called and left messages for our sales rep as well as the general manager of the dealership for days before someone returned our callThe sales rep stated that a check was being mailed out to us that dayA week later we receive a call from the sales rep stating that we now need to sign a paper before they can cut us a check and that it would be easier to do it through email or fax as the check is still not readyWe've been going back and forth with this dealership for two weeks about $$ that we put down in cashEvery time we actually speak to someone its a different story as to why they cannot or have not sent us our $$I will never do business or recommend this dealership to anyone I knowBy far one of the worst dealerships I've ever dealt with

I am rejecting this response because: I have not been able to speak to anyone at gengrashave made many attemps to call *** * *** at ###-###-####I was very happy with purchase of vehicle, however findind out they charged me for things they did not do, *** *** for $699.00,an easy fee of $what is vehicle id security option for $199.00? dealer conveyance fee for $499.00? I went to a licensed auto detailer and was informed thatalso said scratches could not be fixed with little bottle of touch up paint and that no way any *** *** could of been applied
I am a yrmiltary veteran and was reffered to gengras thru usaa insuranceas a active duty member we should be treated better than gengras has treated me, and that goes for all military members

During the course of repairs, it was uncovered that there was a failure within the vehicle's central electronic module. This failure resulted in more work needing to be done, at a substantial cost increase to the customer. The work was completed, and the headlights are now operational. A significant parts and labor discount were applied to the customer's bill, given the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the situation. After review, I am confident in the diagnosis and in the way this situation was handled.

[redacted] the General Manager has spoken with [redacted] yesterday.  [redacted] vehicle is being repaired at [redacted] under her service contract.  Eric has agreed to provide Jennifer with a [redacted] loaner while her vehicle is being repaired at [redacted].  [redacted] is stopping by today after 5pm to pick up the loaner.

Little did I know that it is only for 2 years and guess what I have only had 3 oil changes and when it was changed today I found out I had to pay $130 as the 2 years was up. I think selling this type of maintenance program should be against the law as for someone who has never owned a [redacted] and being told by a finance person that the maintence is expensive you buy it. Well I was taken for a ride. I only had oil changed 3 times. What a rip off. This kind of product is worse that taking a loan out from a loan shark and paying 300% interest. [redacted] buyers beware that if you ever go to this dealer do not buy this product as it is a total rip off. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
We have received a refund check for $100 and are satisfied with the return of our deposit.  The explanation regarding the deposit on the vehicle is not as satisfactory.  My husband was told the truck had a deposit on it the day before, not the same day, as our deposit.  This entire experience has enforced the warnings of others regarding practices at Gengras.  I don't believe we will be doing business with them in the future and I have warned many, many others.

Thank you for you concerns. Their was 2 deposits put on this vehicle the same day. Their was confusion to which guest put their deposits 1st. As the General Manager of Gengras Chevrolet I apoligize for the confusion. We do have over 260 pre-owned vehicles to choose from and would love the...

opportunity to look for another vehicle for this guest. As for the $100.00 deposit it was refunded to the customer on June 24th. Sometimes it could take up to 72 hours to process thru the customers bank.  [redacted] [redacted] General Manager Gengras Chevrolet
