I have attached a copy of the invoice where [redacted] purchased a used Jeep transmission.Mr [redacted] was offered a labor warranty for an additional cost but declined and went with a SilverWarranty that covers the part for months. We have replaced this part at no cost to customer per Silver Warranty guidelines.Since he did not purchase a Platinum Warranty we are not liable for labor costs [redacted]
To Whom It May ConcernI am sorry that Mr*** is not satisfied. Our salesman offered Mr*** a Platinum Lifetime Labor Warranty at an additional cost at the time hepurchased the used transmission but he declined.Since he did not purchase the labor warranty we are not liable for labor costs. We did replace his part free of charge
The Honda Civic that was purchased from *** *** was towed to Old Dominion 4/13/froman automotive repair shop.Mr*** finally brought his title in 4/17/so he could receive payment for the vehicle. We have no knowledge of anyone taking any items out of the sold vehicle at our
location nor do we haveknowledge that the belongings were in there prior to being moved to our location.Any items that the owner wanted to retain out of his vehicle should have been removed prior to moving itto our location.Old Dominion is not responsible for the items that Mr*** wanted to keep but failed to remove whilein his possession or at the repair shop.*** ***
I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
They did replace the transmission three times. I also kept paying to have the transmission re-installed every time. My complaint is that after three times of paying to have this done they would ship a transmission that works. But they did not even want to talk to me about helping out on the cost of the labor. He said We will not ever pay labor no matter how many times we have to send you a transmission. This seams like a ploy to get me to pay for the highest rated warranty they offer. It doesn't seam to me that they want to take care of what they are responsible for?
