Earlier I wrote a negative review on how long it took Gennari to follow through, well, they eventually did and the service and work performed was excellent Only positive things to say about the quality of the work

Unresponsive. It took 5 months to get an estimate that was promised in a week from the time of the site visit and that was only after 8 phone calls requesting the estimate. Now, we can't get Gennari to follow through on installation, even though they've rec'd a 50% deposit. It's going on 10 months now. And I can't get resolution on returning the deposit! I think they're a joke.

They over charged me for time spent at my home.After, the service guy had left. I noticed he had Over charged me for time spent at my home. I had already signed the service form and didn't take notice of it, till AFTER he had left and it was too late by then. He charged me for arrival at my home at 8:20am..when he ACTUALLY arrived at 8:40am....This is not the 1st time they've pulled this either.Desired SettlementI want my bill to reflect that he arrived at 8:40am and NOT at 8:20am....I want to be charged for the ONE hour he was here NOT the 1 1/2 hours he put down.Business Response We were very surprised to receive a Revdex.com complaint prior to sending any invoices to this customer. I called her immediately after receiving the Email about a complaint. I discussed this with her and explained she was only getting charged the 1 hour minimum. She said she would take the complaint down. She had even called for a follow up service on a leak and never mentioned her concern. We always like to discuss concerns directly with a customer to find the best solution. We work with our customers on a case by case basis and have always made every attempt we can to fix a problem. We were very surprised to get another complaint regarding this issue. We pride ourselves on doing the best we can. We have a very good reputation with our customers. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I NEVER ever said, I would take the complaint down...It stands as is...Their sales tactics of "charging" above and beyond the actual time spent at the customers home is NOT acceptable and they do this on a daily basis to each and every customer...They are making THOUSANDS of extra dollars off the backs of the "little people" with this sales practice and it's about time someone stands up and says..."ENOUGH IS ENOUGH" and the only way things will get changed is when corporations STOP making a buck off the backs of the "little People" ....which are the "so called" customers they seem to value...Nothing will change until someone stands up and complains.........If I hadn't complained, I would have been charged for time NOT spent at my home...Therefore, my complaint stands as is....Final Business Response The initial call was 6/1 in the morning for a problem with hose bibb. After getting there she indicated there was a leak on boiler. The plumber said he would try and fix. After he left I sent a heating tech there to look at it. It was fine and there was no charge for the 2nd guy to go there. Then on 6/5 there was a pipe near the furnace leaking. So we sent a heating guy as soon as possible for this. She was billed 1 hour for the 1st call and 1 hour on the last call. Plus materials.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)This company is "missing" the point...So what, that the "work done" wasn't for the original work order. I didn't know I had a pipe that had burst until the service technician had gone down into my cellar. They need to STOP blaming me and understand their own behavior of "over charging" customers for service appointments. I can only imagine the customers that don't notice being "over charged" for time spent at their homes. Had I not complained, this time around or two years ago. I would have been over charged for time NOT spent at my home. This is a " sales tactic" they use to bolster their own pockets. Perhaps, they need to take a "cue" from the movie "Miracle on 34th Street" and take the "higher" road of NOT charging their customers for time NOT spent at their homes.......
