My tech found charcoal coming out of the valve this is indicative of the homeowners water softenerSadly such negative reviews are due to plan holders not understanding their home warranty companies contract.He took pictures in order to replace the unit for the plan holder if it was covered per her home warranty it was notAgain I refered customer back to her home warranty company

In regards to the homeowners complaintWe were sent a work order for the homeowner thru her home warranty company for a leaking shower headMy tech found that the leak was caused by the homeowners water softening unit sending debris thru her pipes causing the failureUnfortunately her home
warranty company does not cover the failure due to the water softenerWe explained that even if we changed the part out she will still be having the issue until her water softener is maintenanceThe $dollars that she paid was her detectable for the home warranty companyagain we explained that once she has the water softer maintenance then we could return to take care of the issueHowever she must contact her home warranty to see if they will cover the issue once she services her water softenerThe decision is strictly based on her home warranty company not Gennaro's Plumbing inc

I am rejecting this response because:*** did not do anything, all he did was take a picture of my shower. He didn't take anything apart to see if there was any debris in it. How can he diagnose it without touching it? Just like all his yelp reviews state, he lies about the diagnoses to the warranty companies so he don't have to fix it. He knows it is the divevalve because that is what he said at first and that he has to order the part and come back and fix it. I just want my $back or for him to order the part and fix it like he said and for him to stop lying

on 2/12/2018 we received an order for a possible pipe leak. my tech Franco ( I do not have a [redacted]) diagnosed the leak coming from the tub drain. repair per homeowners contract. The order was strictly for a leak. This homeowner claims another company went out  and replaced shower valves and so on. Again this was not on his order it was simply for the leak that his home warranty did not cover. If the homeowner had another company go out he did this out of his own pocket because american home shield denied the claim. Homeowner pays a detuctable to his warranty company no monies were paid to us his issue simply was not covered under his contract with Ahs. It is unfortunate that homeowners who do not read their coverage contract with a home warranty company find it necessary to bash a company sent out by his home warranty to report the problem. we do not know what coverage he has and the decision  for non coverage is from Ahs not Genaro's Plumbing inc
