We are a business in Dalian, China. We ordered a refurbished Agilent 6890 GC with three valve gas sampling system in April 2018. The Agreement required the seller to install a 10 port valve to perform back flush.
When we received the system in June 2018, the seller just installed three 6 port valves. The worst thing was that the seller didn’t connect the gas line, just used film to cover the ports. This company is a fraudulent and untruthful business. The owner is very arrogant and unprofessional.
After many time of talks, Gentech sent us the 10 port valve ant other parts, but we had to hire a technician to install. It should be done before delivering to us. We also delayed in using the GC system in our production.
I have attached documentation concerning this complaint. The word document attached goes into quite a bit of detail of back and forth emails from our customer and GenTech. As you can read we went way above the normal parameters of our normal contract to make this customer happy. There is no documentation stating he needed a ten port valve (please reference the Quotes and PO). To try and make this customer happy we made the decision to purchase a new 10 port valve and supply it to our customer. Please note that we made offers to bring the instrument back to our facility to configure the system for the customer. If you have any questions please feel free to give me a call. The tasks the customer demanded are always done in their Lab, we did not do the install which we do offer to our clients.
