When I purchased this service during the summer of I was told it was the optimal internet filter: all-encompassing and solid with limited effects to allowed uses to my chagrin I discovered the not only was this but the opposite was trueThe filter is clunky, difficult to use and harder to installThe latter stems from its absence in both the apple and play stores (I assume this is due to the buggy and sloppy nature of this product)This is not either the first time I've dabbled in the consumer side of the filters universe as I've used both Netspark Mobile and Covenant Eyes both of which filled the same niche but without Gentech's notable pitfallsChief among them is the damning amount of power it consumesWith Covenant Eyes my Android OS consumes 3% of its battery with average use and the filter itself consumes ~6% while with Gentech The OS is at 33% and the filter runs at 30% while in sleep mode

I paid for a filtering service to be installed on my cell phoneThey were initially going to install a more costly version and for technical reasons they installed the cheaper versionThe problem came up that they were billing me for the more expensive filtering serviceI paid up the cost of the cheaper serviceHowever, they continued billing me for the more expensive rateEach time Gentech called for money I kindly explained to them to please look into it because I dont owe any money and they should get back to methis went on for a couple of months where they would call for money and I would say I dont owe any they should please get back to meNo one ever got back to meOn the morning of January *, I noticed I have no data access on my phoneMy emails werent coming through and neither were any websites workingthey all displayed a page from Gentech claiming that because I was delinquent in my payments they blocked my data if I need it restored I should call themMy is
