John gets a A+ in my book He was to come out on a Wednesday and paint my daughter's room (which was a dark purple and Yes, she finally moved out) and hallway in one day....but his workers didn't show John came and moved all furniture, covered it, took down blinds and wall hangings, got the job done and did an excellent job all by himself.....in one day I would highly recommend him to family and friends

The entire job was great, they were professional and did what they said they would do and they took care of any issues I had whatsoever I have already recommended the company to a friend and they have been satisfied with their work as well

Gentex Renovations did some indoor painting at our house, but before that they did work on a bathroom for us. They’re excellent! You don’t have to worry about anything. They come, and they’re neat. The work they did, both the painting and the bathroom, is just beautiful! We love them, and they’re probably the only people we’ll every use

We hired gentex for painting our empty house. They said the job would take 4 days and that they would spray the walls and the ceilings would not have to be painted. The whole job was ~2400 dollars including material with 900 due before starting and rest on completion. The owner was out sick after 2 days but his crew stayed on and asked me to get them the material so they could complete the job. At the time I thought they were upto it ... big mistake. They painted over the light fixtures, windows, air vents, in wall speakers, motion sensors, baseboards, the wooden floor. They kept saying they can clean it and not to worry. They did not know how to spray so they sprayed the ceiling which then had to be painted as well. Their timings were erratic ... they would say they are on their way and 10 minutes away but would show up 5 hours later with excuses. I was being sympathertic at the time because I thought they were trying to make it right so I stuck with them. I had given house keys because they started working nights and one of the crew guys came late in the night and stole their sprayer etc. from the house - now we had cops and insurance company engaged. This was a mess. The owner finally came back afer 2 weeks and then they all tried to fix it. 4 weeks later the crew abandoned the job without finishing up and the owner was too sick to finish up so he left as well. overall they are a mess ... I had to hire a second painting company to fix the walls and I took 3 days off from work cleaning and fixing the rest [remove each fixture, vent to clean spray paint]. A professional cleaning crew did not want to touch the house becuase there was so much to do and they said it was a mess. They came cleaned little and said to pay them for it and they will not do the rest. I had to clean the floor, repaint baseboards after that. I spent almost 3200 dollars over 5 weeks and the owner committed to pay me back at the time but now he does not even respond to my emails, text messages and voice mails. I will never hire them again and recommend that you do not either .. on the contrary I am planning to get a lawyer to get my money back. Will post an update once something changes. But stay away from this company. It is worth paying more than dealing with this.
