Patient called to make an appointmentHe had an insurance company we had never heard of beforeMy office manager called them times and they said the patient doesn't have dental coverage he only has medical coverageThe patient finally
straighten them out and they admitted they made a mistake and that he actually has dental coverageWe inguired into his insurance to see if we are a providerHis insurance uses Dentaquest to administer the policyThe same company that handles public aid for the state of IllinoisEver since Obama Care has been in existance Dentaquest has tried to juggle At least more plans to our knowledgeWe requested a fee schedule to know what to charge the patientThe patient had the crown done, he was charged $610.30, he paid with a credit card and he was doneThe patient later found out they had given us the wrong fee schedule and that he shouldn't have been charged anything and he called his credit card company and stopped the paymentHis CC company placed the disputed amount at a partial amount for $472.30, for what reason I have no ideaWe straightened everything out with Dentaquest, but it took them almost a monthThe patient is still waiting for his CC company to return the rest of his money, for which we have no ideaWe never disputed the charge so I don't know what the problem is with his CC company, but he is the only one who can deal with them

I disputed the entire amount of $after *** the Office Manager refused to negotiate with meThe Bank did reverse $but after I caught their mistake the Bank CC added an additional $to the dispute.I am grateful to Dr*** & his assistant *** for treating me with compassion *** care.My dispute was with being charged $because Dentaquest set the assigned rateI called *** to suggest a check, cash or CC reimbursement and after 4weeks never received anythingThe CC reverse charge will be permanent in weeks and this matter will be closed as resolved
