Since December **, I have communicated with *** *** via text messaging about not receiving my refundTo date, I have not received anything in the mail At this point I think it is best for her to bring me the cash since I was told by the aide (who quite my job) that she was not paid on time and when paid the checks bounced Thank you very much My mother is a senior on a fixed income She should not have to endure such unprofessionalism

Review: On November **, 2014 I sent Gentle Hands a certified letter and sent the same letter via text stating that I was terminating our agreement for an aide for my 82 year old mother for several reasons. I) I was always sent incorrect invoices, 2) strange men were sent to my mother's house to collect payment even though I was told to mail a check to the [redacted] address, 3) the aide assigned continually complained about not being paid her salary or having Gentle Hands checks bounce. She finally just stopped coming to care for my mother's on November [redacted].

I had previously informed [redacted], [redacted], that I did not want any other aide. I was terminating our agreement in writing and wanted my refund. I had paid through November [redacted] ($630) and had paid a week in advance ($540) when signing up which was supposed to be kept in escrow. A total refund owed of $1,170 is due me. [redacted] responded via text several times and said she had mail me a check. To date, I have received nothing.Desired Settlement: Refund Immediately - I believe this company needs an external audit of their books.

Review: Gentle Hands Home Care Services[GHHCS] was hired to provide 24/7 LPN & HHA service for [redacted] from May * to June **, 2014 when [redacted] had to be take to hospital[but because of hospital neglect never returned home]. Director/Owner of GHHCS Doreen J[redacted] was provide with escrow deposit[$3,603.00] and first of service payment on 02/**/14, the escrow amount I and [redacted]'s spouse/my father] the escrow money and any remaining prepaid unused services would be return two weeks after written request provided along with termination of services. Mrs. Doreen J[redacted] was provide on 06/**/2014 with full payment for service until 06/**/2016, in September 2014 I sent GHHCS written request via certified mail for all remaining prepaid services and Escrow funds. My written certified mail request was never answered by Doreen J[redacted] or any of GHHCS representatives, my sister and I went in November to GHHCS address we were unable to enter building no working bell. I sent Mrs.J[redacted] email requesting these monies. She sent two partial check payments not total full pass due amount of $5,673.00, these checks were dishonored by the bank result in $24.00 penalty fee for lack of funds. Increasing the escrow and prepaid unused services amount to $5,697.00 plus 1.5% interest. Doreen J[redacted] C[redacted] was contacted about these monies by phone, email and Certified letter between the months of October 2014-June 2015Desired Settlement: I want Gentle Hands Home Care Service and Doreen J[redacted] C[redacted] to provide me and [redacted] with either Certified Cashier Check or Cash Money for the full amount of $5,697 plus 1.5% interest that has accrued since October 2014{GHHCS and it's Director Doreen J[redacted] C[redacted] failed to refund $3,603 in escrow funds, $2,070.00 of prepaid 24hrs LPN/HHA services, and $24.00 for dishonored/bounced checks fees total of $5,697.00 does not include the 1.5% interest}.

Review: I'm a disabled/Retire 56 year old woman who have been paying, out of pocket, for Home care assistance. The cost for just three hrs. place a financial burden. I heard that I could get Home care services through MEDICARE at a sliding scale rate. My Internet search for p/t home care services, through [redacted]- had several agencies calling, however non dealt with Medicare coverage. [redacted] answered my search, her business is also subscribed To [redacted]. I informed her that I received MEDICARE coverage and most agencies just dealt with MEDICAID. She assured me she would process everything and would register my helpers with her agency, so they continue working with me, as I requested.On Monday 7/*/'13 she visited my apt. we filled out an agreement that she would process all necessary papers to my Doctors and Medicare; she would monitor my assistants requiring they wore a uniform, clocked in and out etc. She had the ladies fill out an application to work for her; got pictures ID;copies of their home care certificates and collected a $25 Dollar fee from each. I gave her a mandatory/nonrefundable $300 processing fee. She also asked for $430 salary escrow from 7/*/13--7/*/'13, as she wanted to make IT appear that they had already been working for her, before applying. Said they would get sign in sheets and get the week payment on SAT 7/*/13, VIA MAIL or in person. She popped up intermittently claiming she was not a fraud and everything would be find, yet till this day my workers didn't get their payment and lost their $25 dollars plus spend money buying uniforms. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND [redacted]'S SHADY BUSINESS BE INVESTIGATED, AS SHE IS PREYING ON THE OLD & SICK. I HAD NO HELPER LAST THURSDAY, BECAUSE SHE INSTRUCTED MY HELPER TO REPORT TO HER FOR ABSENCES, AND I LEARNED ABOUT THIS LATE IN THE DAY, COULDN'T MAKE ARRANGEMENTS. GENTLE HANDSIS A BIG SCAM AND RIP OFF. CONSUMERS BEWARE, THERE'S NO OFFICE BUT I KNOW WHERE SHE LIVES, AND WILL SEE HER IN Court.Desired Settlement: GENTLE HANDS MAKE FULL REFUND OF $730 DOLLARS AND $25 DOLLARS TO ONE OF THE HOME CARE AIDS I HAVE,AS SHE FRAUDULENTLY FAKED AN OFFICE SITE THAT DOES NOT EXISTS,IS NOT A MEDICARE HOME CARE PROVIDER;DID NOT SUBMIT ANY REQUEST OR APPLICATION TO ANY OF MY DOCTORS IN ORDER TO PROCESS MEDICARE COVERAGE. JUST WALKED AWAY WITH MY MONEY. CAUSING ME GREAT FINANCIAL AND EMOTIONAL STRESS.failed TO PROVIDE SUBSTITUTE CARE FOR ME, WHEN WORKER WAS OUT--PLACING ME AT RISK OF HURTING MYSELF.
