Review: This vet has my cat that was brought in by 2 other women when he was not feeling well. I am the owner of the cat. The women brought him in because one of them said she would pay the bill at that time. They said he had to stay there ten ( 10 ) days to be medicated for a [redacted]. On day four ( 4 ) of those ten ( 10 ) days the vet already said he was HER cat and changed his name and added her own last name to his new first name. She said she had not idea who I was and wouldn't tell me anything about the cat. Then I showed her my adoption papers, etc. She told us that she would give me the cat if I pay her a boarding fee of $30.00 a day for 40 some odd days ( I've been trying to get him back all that time ). She even wanted boarding fee for the time he was there that was already paid for. I finally agreed to this amount of money which would be near $2,000.00. I brought the money. She told me to come back next Friday ( which is today, October [redacted], 2013 ) because she didn't have a bill prepared for me. She asked where I got the amount from. She said no it's more because she performed tests on him ( that nobody asked her to do ) I was going to pay that when I went there today (which is a week after I originally went there) she put a sign in the window that read " if your name is [redacted] put in writing your cause. " We knocked on the door anyway. A man asked what we wanted. We told him and went in. He came back and said she is very busy and can't see you. We told her we took off of work in order to be here before she closed. He came back again and said will you wait outside ( what is she stupid?) We waited inside. She didn't come out. She called the police. All she told them is that my friend and I have been there every week harassing her. Not true We were there twice ( 2X ) counting today when she told me to go there. She told the police to get my friend and me out of there. She has my cat and refuses to return him. She said that she loves the cat.Desired Settlement: I want my cat back. We are heartbroken.
