I visit this pet store often when I am in the mall with my sonWe recently lost our dog and are going to be buying another puppy soon so I check out what they have an occasionally ask to take one outThis past Friday night I stopped in and wanted to see an English Bulldog and couldn't because they were on "nap time"I get that they need to let the puppies stay in there and rest sometimes, HOWEVER, I was interested in possibly purchasing the dog and couldn't see him because they had previously let the teeny boppers hanging out at the meriden mall play with the puppies all night with no intention or money to buy them!!! This place is ridiculous and this isn't the first time it has happenedThe customers should have to show a license before taking the puppies outSomethingIf they don't have a license, chances are they aren't old enough to have a dog or have the finances to pay for a dog!! Not that a license is going to do anything, but possibly make it a little more complicated to take the dogs out for kids that are just hanging out at the mallmost of them are young and its something fun to do at the mall! Something needs to be done to just stop everyone from going in there and having play time with these dogs and teasing them to the point that they think they will be getting out of that hell hole...No just walk in and ask for whatever puppy you feel like playing with!! The place is dirty, smelly and the puppies are not taken care of properlyI would love to buy one from there just to save it from this nasty placeIt needs to be closedi don't understand how they are allowed to operate this businessNot to mention the puppies are all over priced so that the EE's can get paid commission for each puppy they sell$for a male boxerumm, outrageous! Defdon't recommend this place and think it should be closed down ASAP!

I just purchased an Italian Greyhound at this pet store and couldn't be happier. I made numerous visits to the store, it was always very clean with the animals well looked after, the employees were very knowledgeable and pleasant. Darcy was a wealth of information about tips for caring for my new dog. I named my IG "Sonny", he is very healthy according to my Vet, and has a great temperament. I followed Darcy's instructions on training and there has not been one accident so far. I would definitely recommend this pet store. Wish I could post a photo of this beautiful dog so you could see for yourself how well cared for he was. Thank you Darcy for all of your help
