Dear [redacted] and the Revdex.com:March 25,2015Thank you for sending us a copy of the complaint filed with Revdex.com on March 3, 2015 by a customer who used our services here at Gentle Touch Med Spa. In accordance with the request issued by the Revdex.com, the following is the response...

we issued to the customer via email who filed the complaint (ID: [redacted]):"Hi (Patient Name), attached is the consent you signed. (In the email response to the patient Gentle Touch Med Spa included a scanned copy of the consent form the patient signed prior to treatment, a copy of these consent fonns are included in this fax.) It (the consent forms) clearly state there is no guarantee of results; these forms also state what our policy is should a touchup be needed within the first 4 weeks (where you initialed). It also states more than (1) injection may be needed to achieve satisfactory results. There is never any type of guarantee with a medical procedure. The type of complaint you have directed towards our medical business can be compared to the following situation: Yougo to a doctor for an infection, the doctor places you on antibiotics to treat this infection, but the antt'biotics fail to fully treat the infection which leaves your condition unchangedor worse. You would not go back to the doctor who prescribed the antibiotics complaining that, because the antibiotics didn't work, you want your money back. The· treatment you received with us was  your  fu:st Botox injection ever. The muscles in the center of the brows are generally strong and sometimes require more Botox than our doctors are comfortable to give in a single treatment, especially when it is first-time patient of Botox. Our doctors are very conservative with Botox especially when administering Botox to fitst time patients of this treatment like you since the product is not reversible and there is not an exact measuring method regarding how many units are needed to treat any given patient. For this reason we start on the low side when deciding how many units to administer to a first time patient, and as it states in our consent, our patients can then come back (within the first 4 weeks after initial treatment) for a touch­ up appointment if needed. If one of our doctors determines that a touch-up is needed, we are happy to administer it as it helps us detennine exactly how many units of Botox eachpatient of ours needs, and that amount is then documented in the patient's chart. The nextprocedure that patient receives down the road is then more precise because of this fact.The most likely outcome of your case would have been very similar to the general description just provided: you would have waited the recommended 14-day period we requested you take, and if 1he results were still not satisfactory following that period, youcould have come in to have a few additional units injected between your brows. These are facts we tried to explain to you when you called in (3) days after your treatment. The negat!_ve reviews on Yelp and your rude behavior towards our staff was wmecessary and inappropriate. It's unfortunate that your treatment was ineffective between your brows."This is our response to the complaint filed, we have already sent this response to the customer who filed the complaint on March 3, 2015 with the Revdex.com against Gentle Touch Med Spa, and because we have already contacted our customer the Revdex.com does not have to forward a copy of this response to the consumer. Review: I went to Gentle Touch Laser for Botox treatment on 01/30/2015. After three days there was no evidence of improvement and I contacted the office. They set-up an office appointment to see me and later canceled telling me to wait 14 days for results. Meanwhile I posted a review on YELP stating that I was waiting to see how the results were. I later contacted the doctor to set-up an appointment because there were no results that I had paid for and this is the response I received.

Hi [redacted], you called us last week regarding your Botox treatment. We advised you that Botox takes up to 2 weeks to take effect (which is also stated in the aftercare instructions we gave you) and to come in and see one of our doctors after that if you still had an issue. However, it seems instead of waiting and if still being upset allowing us the opportunity to resolve the issue, you resorted to leaving us a negative review on yelp. We would have been happy to see you and even re-treat you if necessary however your conduct is unfair and unreasonable. Please find another clinic to go to as we do not wish to see you anymore. We are happy to refer you to a local medical society that can help you find another clinic for your future treatments. We will be posting he same response on yelp.
