GenX Generator

Called to get maintenance on my generator, spoke with Brian, they scheduled for 2pm and it would cost $190. I took off work to be home by 2pm, at 2:15 I called to ask where they were, Brian said he was in route be there in 5 minutes. Tech arrived at 2:35. Tech was here for about 20 minutes told me the battery was about 4 years old told me $100 to replace it, I said OK. got my bill for $333.50. I called Brian who said, $190 is "his standard line", but, it's actually time and materials. I said, I don't do T&M, I would have called someone else. Brian said if I would have said that he would have set flat rate at $225.00, I said, your bill is still $8.50 more than flat rate, he said, that's the way it works. I told him I would not be calling back, and would share my experience with others.
