I saw an ad on craigslist for a Honda Grom (ad was posted in the wrong category, supposed to be in motorcycles by dealer not by owner) The ad was spammed on there everyday for a few monthsThe ad specifically said "Everybody is guaranteed approved, first time buyer programs, $down and everyone rides." So I didn't want to try the $money down so I saved up $and have been at my job since and called the guy in the ad [redacted] He said go to this website and fill out the credit approval and I will let you know what happens in the morningdays past and still nothing, so I call him and he says "oh, forgot to call you but great news come into the store and we will fill out the rest of the paper work and you can ride the grom home." So I drove an hour and a half to Melbourne, and when I get there [redacted] says "okay, we need to start your credit approval to make sure your good to go." I immediately say "I already did that on your website and you said I was good to go just to finish paperwork." He responds "oh no, that one didnt count we have to do it here and see if it goes through." So we again fill out the paperwork and sit there for hours and no answer, by this point its p.m and he hasnt told us anything except stay on the couch in the storeI finally get to the point where I just wanted to get home and eat dinner so I told him just call me when you get an answerNext day no call OF COURSESo that evening I call and say "What's the deal can I ride today?" And he says "no you werent approved, you need to bring us at least $2500-$to be approved" I was so [redacted] The ad said the bike was $The ad also said $down everyone approvedI put $down on a $bike that everyone else gets approved with zero down with? He also changed the price of the bike when filling out the paperwork to, the ad said the bike was $and when I got there he changed it to $without tax After I told him forget it you are changing what you said and I dont have time for this and I will just go to the Kawasaki dealer he went on to try to sell me a used cbr250/for $blowing my phone up spamming me with text messages trying to get me to give him more moneyAfter I was finally rude and told him to [redacted] he went on to try to get me to buy his "Buddies" wrecked bikeAnd I finally blocked his number
