Called to make a appointment, told just be here at am and you will be taken care ofdrove down from Asheville, NC and stayed over arrived at sexton at 5;45am to see a full parking lotwaited in line until and was let in to stand in line insidemin later a lady with a clip board came down the line to a person ahead of me and then said everyone from here back may as well go because we will not see you todaythere were people that had driven & hrs to get thereI went to a restaurant doors down and in talking to the waitress she told us about Carolina dental service next door to SextonI went there and found the friendliest and professional folks who took care of my new dentures prices are within a couple dollars and they are greatSexton didn't care less about the people they turned away

I had Iv sedation work done here on June 2,Air I was worried about was the pain I was going to be in after the surgeryI have to say after having teeth removed and a set of dentures doneI never had one moment of painThis place is greatI would recommend DrCto anyone who needs any kind of pain free dental work doneYes it took all day but they told me that from the original email they sent me.Thank you for giving me my smile back

I have no complaints with the processes at the clinic; signing in, working the procedures, the staff, however, the final product is substandard. I ordered the high end product composition but the creation and end result of the dental bridge I had made is unusable. The engineers or creators of the shape needed for the bridges needs to go back to school. I am basing my results by comparing my current bridge, made over 30 years ago with this new insert, which was to replace the old.. The company offers a service to verify "the color" of the teeth but this would not have been useful to my situation. My husband had an upper denture made and is satisfied. I suggest this company is a good fix for many other procedures but not for dental bridges.

Went to Sexton Dental Clinic, 10/08/2014 , met [redacted] outside while in line .... she was quick in her job of asking for us to get our ID ready and explained what would happen inside. Then met [redacted], Dr. [redacted] and Dr. [redacted] These would be the xray tech, cashier, Dr. [redacted] that consulted with me about the procedures and Dr. Hearst that did the actual extractions. After viewing all the negative comments here, was very leery about going to the Sexton Dental Clinic but still had to get it done.

Had 17 teeth extracted ... more than half were broken off at the gum line and another quarter of them were damaged at the gum line. At several of the places I visited here in central Florida ... the cheapest extraction (simple extraction) was $65 + office visit $25 + xray $15 and they would only do 2 extractions @ visit. Gum level teeth started at $150 in the lower jaw and $200 if it is in the upper ... if the gum is covering the tooth ... then you have to call in an Oral Surgeon .... the price now starts at $400+ . 17 teeth , the cheapest I found was about $4,000... plus top of the line dentures it comes to $6,330.

Sexton Dental charges $25 @ tooth, period. $50 for panoramic xrays, exam $25, $10 for infection control fee and basic dentures ... total cost is $750. Go to the pharmacy for Amoxicillin and ,pain killers for $15.80. Even driving from an hour north of Tampa, FL to Florence, S. Carolina ... still saved a lot of money.

In and out by 0920 with all teeth extracted ... back at 1300 to get fitted for dentures .... out by 1500. All of the people I met were courteous and professional in their duties ... this is not a plush red carpet service but they get the job done ... if you are not interested in saving money then feel free to pay an arm and a leg at your local dentist office.

I am not a shill for Sexton Dental ... just someone that is tired of paying high prices for something that can get done for a whole lot less. I am on disability and Medicare / Medicade does not cover dental unless it is life threatening ... same as vision and hearing.

One day and teeth are replaced! No change in speech is noticed. The fit was great. A second pair after a year was needed but by no falt of the clinic and the fit was great. The price is perfectly affordable. I am Very pleased. I hope Someday for the bottoms ,too. I stand by their work, And encourage everyone to go to Sexton Dental Clinic in Florence SC to get their smile back. Thank you

I was very nervous and intimidated by all the bad reviews. I still went to see what it was about. Got there at 5am with about 5 ppl already In line. Went in at 6. Did paperwork. Then everything started happening really fast. X-rays, impressions, wax, dentist checked me out and we made a plan. The staff was awesome. They tried to help me relax. Then paid for the work I was about to have done and got a 10% discount because it was the month of my birthday!!!! Saved like $96. Then was called to have teeth extracted. Left and returned to office at 1 as instructed. Waited about an hour and was called to have my upper denture and lower partial inserted. It didn't fit at first, the bite was off. They removed and made adjustments 3 times to make sure I was completely satisfied before I left. Im very happy with my experience.

My husband, Larry, went into the Myrtle Beach, FLA Sexton Dental Clinic in early January. We were told about the clinic by friends from Texas, so were prepared for the early morning line up and arrived about 4:45 a.m. There were about 6 people already ahead of us, one lady said several members of her family had been coming to this clinic for years. We were in by 6:30, by 7:30 my hubby had his xrays done, by 9:30 he was back in the waiting room with me, looking understandably dazed after having 7 needles to get 6 teeth removed, one a wisdom tooth, and his denture impressions had been taken. We were told to return at 1:30 p.m., after lunch, and so used the time to booked a room at a nearby motel. When we returned, he was taken right in, and was out by 2:30, complete with his new "temps" in place over his very tender gums, choking & gagging. I was very startled & quickly asked the receptionist if this was normal, which she assured me it was, but if he hadn't improved by the next day, to return. We were given an address and prescription for a pharmacy just down the street, where he received a weeks worth of antibiotics, and a painkiller at a very reasonable price. We had sheets of instructions, which I had varying degrees of success in getting my very cranky husband to follow. After a night of concerned watchfulness, my exhausted hubby had had enough & we continued on our way south to Florida. He was on liquids & soft foods for about two or three weeks, as he had stitches over two spaces. His healing was tedious, but successful, with only a minor fever for two days. As instructed, we returned on the homeward journey three months later for his new dentures to get relined, which was very successful (he looks even more like his Mom now) & his teeth finally fit properly so he could talk & eat normal food - we celebrated with a steak & all the trimmings! Yes, it is an "assembly line" like experience, but all our questions were answered on both visits & everyone was professionally polite. On both visits we met numerous repeat & multi family member customers from all over the States. We got some startled smiles when we said we were from Canada. When we return next January, we will pick up the permanent set of dentures, a slightly better quality than the relined "temps", but many people don't bother. I know many seniors who need new dentures very late in life & have yet to hear of a second set that anyone is happy with, as gum shape will change & new impressions don't seem to be as successful, so we will already have his second set. The first visit was $473.00 including prescriptions, & the permanent set will be another $400, so both will be under $1000. If we could save the money at home, even if we had some kind of dental plan, which is actually not common now a days, dentures still run somewhere around $3000 - $4000. So a bit rough, but a one shot misery, and a good ending. I am also looking into using their upstairs facilities next year (appointments necessary) for getting my teeth & fillings repaired as I found the prices for that will be much cheaper as well. I also took about a dozen brochures to hand out, and have been talking about it since we finished. Thank you to all the staff for a really good job.

Sexton dental needs to learn that there patients are human. Someone should do a check on how they treat their patients. I have never had a worse experience in my life.

Friendly staff, great service, will go again if needed and will recommend to everyone I know!
