Review: My complaint is that my Air Bag Light system in my 2002 [redacted] was supposed to be repaired on April 18 2014. The job was done and I paid George Mason Auto Service a total of $356.00 for the repair plus $16.00 for state inspection. The Air Bag warning light returned approximately 3 days later. I then returned to the shop and stated that the light returned. They told me that they were going to purchase a used part and install it at no cost. The mechanic failed obtained the part after almost a month. On May 19th 2014 I went to the shop asked for a return of the labor cost which is approximately $288. The mechanic denied my request for a refund.Desired Settlement: I feel as if the business has a responsibility to be fair with their customers and issue a refund if the repairs were not done.

07/03/2014Hello [redacted],I am responding to your letter dated June 27th, 2014 for complain ID [redacted].With reference to the complaint, my customer came with air bag problem with air bag light on. I have to do the initial diagnostic test to detect the problem which was for one hour. As I could not detect the problem with initial diagnosis, I have to do detail diagnosis which took additional 3 hours, I spend about four hour for initial and detail diagnosis.With completion of detail diagnosis, I found that ABS module was bad because it was water damage as ABS module was wet. I called my client and let him know about the problem. He then informed me that he just bought the car had done detailed shampoo.I let the customer know I can fix it temporary by cleaning the module but have to replace the module as this will not last longer. He gave me permission to fix it temporary . I fix it, I clean the module, dry the carpet and reset the computer.The customer came back after one week with same problem. As a courtesy, I told him he needs to replace the module. I also offer him option to change the module free of charge if he brings the parts or just pay for the parts if he wants me the get the parts but no labor charge.If you have questions please free to call at ###-###-####Thank you
