As I stated earlier It was not my fault at all, and the paper work I signed was to describe what happened there rather accepting a fault

It was absolutely your fault. The damage well exceeded $300. Also we did not charge you for down time of the waverunner which was 2 days @$99 per hour. You should check all the paper work you signed. I believe the result was more than fair for you.
